Maya Kulkarni I love this place! My nails are always immaculate and my gel manicure lasts at least 3 weeks, sometimes close to 5! They are able to do simple nail art which is fun. The staff here are friendly and efficient. I really appreciate that they provide these gloves for you to wear when you put your hands under the UV light to cure — helps prevent UV skin damage.

heather bates By far the best gel manicure I’ve ever had! I’ve been frustrated by other places where my nails chip in a week or two. My manicure from here has lasted over a month without chipping and still looks great! I also like how they give you gloves to protect your hands. Highly recommend!

Mrz. Brooks This is definitely different from any place that Ive gone to in reference to esthetics. However, this was an amazing pedicure that Ive had in my life. The fact that they have so many pedi choices, hot stones, and parrifin wax makes this place worth visiting. The prices are decent, and they take their time to ensure that you are satisfied. I will definitely go back next month to try a different pedicure.

Ottavia Lezzi Obsessed with Amy! She does the absolute best gel x. She’s a perfectionist and it shows. I’ve never had my gel-x last more than three weeks at other places but I could easily go 6 with Amy’s nails. Also love all the other girls at the salon!! Emily did my wedding nails and they lasted all throughout my three week camping honeymoon.

Holly Wehrman I really love the Nail Suite! Everyone is friendly and Emily and Amy do such an amazing job with my gel extensions! Pedicures are extremely relaxing and in semi-private rooms, which is great for the socially anxious lol.

Amanda Cuoco I could not love this salon more. Emily always takes great care of me and the salon is so immaculate. Everyone who works there is sweet and thoughtful. Plus I love that they have a good eye for what’s trendy and and have talented nail techs to execute it. They are far from a chop shop, and it’s hard to find a place like that around here!!! I love the nail suite it is absolutely my nail salon for life! I won’t go anywhere else.

Vivian Chen Kim does the best gel extensions I’ve found in all of SF. No lifting for 6 weeks just grown out. Lynn does the coolest designs, there hasnt been one I wanted that she couldn’t do. The salon has limited charms though if theres a specific one you want to use you should bring it yourself. They have common ones like bows and rhinestones.

Tifani Fuentes Probably one of the worst nail salons that I’ve Been to in San Francisco. Not only was the price almost $80 just for a fill They would not take any direction as to The requested shape of the nail they continued to do it their way, despite countless asks I was left with lumpy square nails (did not ask for square at all) that were so thick and uneven including the several coats of uneven paint. I had to file them down when I got home. My cuticles are completely ripped off and my hands look horrendous. I do not recommend at all. Never again!

Carissa Zhong First time trying this salon and the pedicure experience was painful! Kelly who did the pedicure for me cut toenails on my left foot so short, especially the big toe, I screamed 4-5 times when she cut it and did the cuticle and filing. You can tell from the picture, left foot and right foot are not even. I wasn’t bleeding (thank goodness), but man it was painful! Now that I’m home when I wear socks, my left foot hurts because the skin of the big toe rubs with my sock. Cutting the toenails should be the most basic skill, how can she mess that up? The owner said Kelly usually is very good. I don’t believe that at all. Again, basic skill. I would never want Kelly to do my nails again. Thank god it’s Tina who did manicure for me, who was very good. When I made reservation online, I don’t have a chance to choose which staff. I don’t think I will take the risk coming here again not knowing who I will get. I paid $145 for delux gel pedi and gel mani, which is very expensive but the quality and experience don’t match the price tag. They are also short of staffs on Sunday. Normally when I go to my go-to salons, 2 people do mani and pedi in the same time, so I can get it done sooner. But today, I had to wait till the pedi is done then did the mani, I spent total 2.5 hours waiting and for the whole process. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

Madalin Bucci My nails chipped less than a week later. The place was so dirty too. I would never go back and I wasted my money there because now I have to get my nails done AGAIN

Susan Plath OMG supposedly Julie does beautiful artwork on nails. Obviously not by the photo you see. Pretty sloppy I would say. They are extremely expensive and when Im paying that kind of money my nails better be perfect and they werent. You couldnt give me free services to go there again

Vanessa Sheldon I am torn. I like how they did my nails but the place was over booked and crowded. I spent 2 hours there and was bounced around between 3 people. Then, it took the 3rd person who finished my nails to get the shape right. In the end, another customer, who seen me earlier was shocked to see that I was still there by the time she sat down for her appointment. They tried to make it up by giving me a discount on my nails and giving me a free hand and arm massage. All in all, I appreciate them trying to make it up but the experience left me questioning if Ill be back.

Wailani Sung Second time going to BT Nails and Spa and I am really happy with the results. I had the dip powder manicure and gel pedicure and everything came out perfect. I even tried the nail designs since I saw the pictures on their website. My manicurist Van came up with a pretty design for me right on the spot. Definitely going back.

Harper Dennis I gave BT Nails & Spa a second chance, but unfortunately, they continue to disappoint. They dont respect their posted hours, often opening late, and have no regard for appointments. There is a lack of professionalism and seriousness, making it clear that customer service is not a priority. This business does not value or respect its clients

Crystal We came in a large group and made appointments in advance. Even through the hustle and bustle every nail tech delivered. Quick mentions: they provide a receipt so that IF your nails break in two weeks you can come back for them to fix it free of charge. Pay cash and they give you a stamp card. Tracy helped one of the girls and did such a good job.

Xxammi Nation I called last minute they said the price was $50 for acrylic, I ended up paying $70 so I didnt have enough to tip unfortunately. they took me in, i showed them a pic and they got it spot on. I think my nail tech was Tim he did an amazing job for a last minute thing!! I recommend getting your nails done here! The nail techs here were very nice. I wish I could remember what the red color was because it is now my favorite color. They have ample amount of colors for you to choose from. Overall I give this place 5 stars and will be going back.its very hard to find a nail salon I actually like. Thank you lucky v staff!

Rene Cain I have been going to Lucky V for 8 years and over the last year their service has become unprofessional and sub mediocre at best. My last experience, when I took a friend with me, marked the last time I will go. My friend and I both had appointments booked ahead, the 2 people providing the pedicure were not helpful on color, they were disrespectful and demeaning, rushed us through like animals. My friends appointment was for a Mani/Pedi but they left her sitting (after the Pedi) for 10 minutes without directing anyone to begin her Mani...after 15 min, we left. Nick, the owner was not there, so I dont know if that influenced the girls lack of customer service. In the past I paid their exorbitant prices because the service was good but NOT anymore. I was very disappointment after so many years of loyal patronage. Hopefully for other patrons sake they will read this and go back to being GOOD!

morgan kempf Went here for the first time and was very pleased with how everyone made sure I was getting what I wanted. There was some slight confusion on my part as to what I wanted and the nail technicians were very patient with ensuring I was well cared for. Great price and wonderful quality. I did a walk-in and they were able to fit me in right away. I will definitely be back. I don’t think my nails have ever looked better!!

Beanbag141 Place looked clean, people were friendly enough, but when it came to removing my old set of acrylics, they just ripped them off. Like the nail tech took an extension, wedged it between the natural nail and the acrylic and then just popped it off. It damaged my natural nail pretty badly. It felt like the nail tech was rushing the whole time and therefore the nails themselves looked good but not great. One of my nails also already popped off just a few days after getting them done. Overall, the experience was not worth the price and I will not be returning.

Madison Em Cathy is amazing! I enjoyed my experience today with her. Shes so efficient and talented with designs. I will leave a photo of the inspo vs what I got below. Id recommend her a million times over! Thank you for lifting this tired mamas spirits up because I so needed this pamper day.

Brittany Alvine I was just at this nail salon and didn’t notice my toes until I walked out how bad they were. I came in for just a pedicure and the woman walked away before finishing my pedicure and they were going to have someone give me a top coat after only one layer of polish. I mentioned this and she added another coat and redid my big toe. After seeing it in the car I couldn’t believe they let me walk out with such a messy job and paying $30 for this service. Maybe I just had a one-off bad experience but I would not recommend this place for a basic pedicure. Update: I went back to ask for a refund for just one of the three pedicures my party paid for and they offered to repaint my nails. After having had them repaint while I was there and doing such a bad job I opted out of that offer, not to mention I don’t have time to sit again to have the job redone. They have awful service and did not provide the service I paid for.

Vanessa Sheldon This was a recommendation from a customer of mine and Im SO GLAD to say that it was beyond pleasant! Tim was the nail tech who did my nails and he was fast and efficient! He also had the best personality Ive encountered when getting my nails done. He cracked jokes and we laughed pretty much the whole time. He definitely made it feel as though I was family with how comfortable everything was. On a last note, I live about 30 min away and this experience has made me confident in saying I will definitely be coming back.

Stephanie Hambright I really liked how my nails came out, and the service I got while I was there. This was honestly the best nail set I’ve gotten when it comes to lift and how long they lasted. I’ve had these for almost a month now and there’s no lifting on any of them.

Ksenia Klochkova Very clean and modern venue with nice chairs and drink options. The staff is very friendly, caring, and pay attention to your wants and needs. The quality of work is way better than in most places, but some details are not done to perfection (evenness of gel, cuticle, evenness of nail shape and length). A big issue was that I called ahead to ask if I need an appointment to do mani and pedi, and I was told that I can come in without an appointment. However, it took them close to 3 hours to do the services, although the procedures took a little over an hour. They have a separate staff at the bar that only does mani and another staff that does pedi in the chairs. So, it takes a lot of time to do both especially on a Friday night. So come during the week. Overall, great place! I will definitely come back, but will try to schedule an appointment and will avoid Fridays at all cost.

heather C This was my first time coming to this spa and my last time!! I had a pedicure and gel manicure and eyebrows waxed. The service was friendly, but the gel manicure didn’t even last 24 hours, polish chipped immediately off. The polish on the toes chipped same day!!! I paid decent money for all of these services and was NOT pleased with the services except the eyebrows!!!

Marsha Anderson I always have a great experience and great customer service when I go my favorite technician is Sol. Shes a technician and training from the pictures that you see she did my nails, and I was very pleased. I ask everyone that has the pleasure of getting her for technician if youre in a hurry, use a more experienced technician Sol is in training and it takes time and shes only going to get better with experience so please be patient if you happen to get her shes very kind person and does a great job, you will grow to really appreciate her. Remember we all had to start somewhere so please be kind and give her some encouragement.. shes my go-to girl. The overall shop is clean the technicians are super super nice.

Joanna Gummery I love getting my nails done here, they are so friendly and warm. Been coming for a few years and love to see Nancy or Tina, but everyone is great and I know Ill get a top-quality mani/pedi no matter who I see. I love the care and attention they put into the health of my nails too, especially since I started doing an acrylic layer (which makes my frequent color changes so much easier than the dip powder).

jen miller I had a great first-time experience at the nail salon. The staff were friendly and even offered me coffee. My nail artist, Lyn, was very understanding and listened to my concerns. She manually removed my old gel using foil and acetone, then gently buffed my nails instead of using a drill due to my nail sensitivity.I was indecisive about the nail art, but Lyn gave me a few helpful suggestions. The lady who did my pedicure (her name starts with "H") seemed new but was very nice, a good listener, and did a great job with my gel pedicure.Overall, the customer service was excellent. I will definitely come back for Lyn.

Hope Brown I hate doing bad reviews but I cant believe how bad of a job was done. You can see my nails are lifting. You can see the polish doesnt cover the look of the nail extention. You can see crust. Uneveness. My nails were supposed to be almond shape. Looks oval at best. Im too embarrassed to post the pictures of the pedicure. All these photos were taken the same day I got the work done. I had just got off a 12 hours shift and was exhausted and falling asleep in the chair. I got played.

Kat Roy Look at the pics and you be the judge. This job was done less than 24 hours ago. My $100 Gel paint job is cracking they missed removing some previous gray paint shown in the pics and my nail bed looks terrible. Yes I do believe it is their job to clean up my cuticles. They painted my toes and left streaks "too embarrassed to share those pics" I work hard for my money I do not appreciate it being wasted. Ill have to find some place to fix it. Likly costing me the same amount. Customer service was ok that is why Im giving 2. I do expect better from Rose and her crew!

Tiana Valdespino This was walking distance from where my car was getting worked on. I wish I got the woman’s name..she was the only one working there all day! I wasn’t too impressed with color choices, but for the price and quality of the basic pedicure I got outweighed that. She was so meticulous and thorough. I’m very ticklish/sensitive on my feet, so I’m usually clenching and or squirming during a pedi, especially during the massage. This was not the case today; I was fully relaxed and was close to falling asleep. For being the only woman working in the shop, and for having a growing number of walkins as the time went on, she easily could have skimped on my service and rushed through it (as I’ve experienced in other salons). But like I said, she was meticulous and thorough and very sweet on top of that too. I would definitely come back if I’m in the area!

Quania Jones I recently took my niece and her favorite girls to Bougie Babies Nail Spa, and it was an absolute dream! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was luxurious, yet still totally welcoming for the kids. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the space itself is beautiful. The girls were treated like royalty, each getting their own mani-pedi with non-toxic products. They were able to relax and enjoy their favorite movie while getting pampered, and the pizza they served after was a huge hit. While they were having their princess moment, I got to kick back in the lounge and sip on a mimosa, it was pure bliss. If you’re looking for a place where the little ones can feel extra special and you can enjoy some downtime too, Bougie Babies Nail Spa is the perfect spot. It’s more than just a pampering session it’s a whole experience that everyone will love! I highly recommend!

Vanessa C Adorable! I was hesitant when I was told "I booked the kids a spa day in Richmond" but honestly this is such a cute resource for kids. A nail salon all for them! You definitely got to book an appointment and street parking is limited, we parked on residential around the corner. Lots of colors and lots of fun stuff for them to do like the tablets, the movie and the snacks.

Jennifer Patterson My daughter loves this place. They do a great job and really make the kids feel special. We have been multiple times and will continue to go. Super cute and very fun!

Irma Gomez She does not know how to thread eyebrows AT ALL. She made sure to ask me if I liked them thin before she started, I SAID NO, and she still did them thin. It hurt more than threading usually does when she did them, and she had the nerve to roughly pluck at the sensitive skin with tweasers after. My eyebrows still sting. Also one eyebrow is thinner than the other! She charges more than some other places just to mess your eyebrows up. Ive been working on getting my eyebrows nice and thick for some time. Now thanks to her I have to start over. I blame myself for not being patient enough to find a better salon, but also her for claiming to be able do something shes clearly not capable of. I only paid because I was not about to get into an argument with an older woman over $10, but best believe I had to get on here and warn others.

Kyla Garrow I’ve come here a few times and they do a great job. I love that there are organic and natural options for services and everyone that has helped me has been so nice and also thorough to make sure I get exactly what I wanted. I brought in a picture of a manicure that I liked for a wedding I was in and they exceeded my expectations with the execution! See photos for how they turned out. I have tried a few different services including gel manicure and the coconut spa pedicure. I love the lotions that they use (made in house!) and will continue to come back for more.

Kiersten Drattell Gwen and Tracy did my mani and pedi and did an amazing job. Helena greeted me with such a welcoming smile I felt at home right away. Kanjana Naruphai I went here two times. First with Helena, I got a Labo gel color that lasted a very long time. My second time was the same treatment with Tina. The ladies were very friendly and both times were great experiences.

Love Love Way over priced for a simple set (short acrylic French tip) IT COST ME OVER $75!! I’ve payed wayyy cheaper elsewhere. Tina tends to rush and Tony always does a great job but i equally feel they tend to just throw any price for nails. I’ve been coming here for YEARS now and it’s just becoming ran down. I mostly come for eyebrows and literally have to wait over an hour!! Tony doesn’t do facials or waxing which only leaves Tina. She hardly cares and makes you wait which sucks bcus it only takes 10min for eyebrows ☹️ *sigh* I hate to say it, but I won’t be returning, I’ve given this place chance after chance. Go spend your money where you are valued.

Bethany Lopez Beautiful nails as always, but except the fact that when I go, certain products they use arent labeled. The women that does my nails is sweet as pie, but recently when I went, I asked the man who works there what products he was using on my nails, as soon as that was said he snapped back at me and said "Thats for me to know and you to not." As soon as that happened I knew I was done, and I plan on never coming back. As a customer I have the right to know what products are going to be used on MY body.
