Our toddler enjoys his visits, our teens tolerate cleanings and my husband and I dont mind going. Theyre great about getting us in and are always on time if not even a bit early!

2 /5 Doran Van Bemmel: I went in for a routine cleaning over a year ago. There were no major issues, and I even remember them scheduling me for another 6 month appointment. They normally send me automated emails/texts as a reminder when the date gets close, so I dont bother putting it on my calendar. Fast forward over a year later, and I still havent received an email/text reminder. I assumed that there was a problem with their systems, and maybe my appointment got lost. No big deal. So I went online to schedule a new appointment, and then they called me a few days later... Turns out, my account was closed due to past-due payment. They told me it was for around $100 and that they sent it to collections. Sunrise never tried to call/text or email me of the problem. They said they sent a letter, but it was to an old address from 3 years ago. I would have had no problem paying the bill, and the fact they didnt try other methods of reaching out before sending it to collections baffles me. They also canceled my next appointment without any notification, hence the need to manually schedule a new one. Now Im worried this is going to impact my credit due to their lack of communication. I cant in my right mind continue going to Sunrise after this. The fact that they will just send clients bills to collection, and cancel their next appointment for such a small amount without hesitation makes me worried. They need to at least make additional attempts before moving to the last resort. Hopefully nobody else has this same issue with an even larger account balance where the consequences are more serious.
