Providence Chehalis Family Medicine

Rachel Nilles I have been a patient here since 2015 and have always had an amazing experience with any of the providers. I have been a patient of Dr. Lee up until 2024, and he always listened to me and made sure we both agreed on a game plan for any issues I had. I recently switched to Dr. Slaymaker because I met her at one of my husbands appointments and loved her. I recently had my new patient appointment with her and she is absolutely amazing! She didn’t rush my appointment, she listened to all my concerns and we made a game plan together. She has a great personality as well. I have seen several resident doctors there for more urgent matters and all of them have been so kind and helpful. I am so lucky to have Providence Chehalis Family Medicine as my primary care provider!

Chehalis Childrens Clinic

Jennifer Dodd Always have a good experience here. Today I don’t even remember names of student and doctor but they made sure to get my baby girl in same day before the holiday. Very informative on what to expect with medications and helping her get treated. Good rapport. My kids love coming here.

Steck Medical Group

Helen E Steck medical used to be a great place to go. Ive been going for well over 20 yrs and today I was rudely told by the receptionist that my doctor only was there for 1month and left and I need to go elsewhere. Nothing nice about it. Just to bad go away attitude. I had called on a different issue 3 weeks ago with no call back. No letter stating my provider left. No letter letting me know that my old provider, Dr. Lee, had left either. I used to get a letter letting me know my provider was leaving and to call and make arrangements to see a new provider. Steck Medical has had a problem keeping providers for sometime. They dont pay female providers the same as male providers. This is the reason why I lost a great provider to a clinic in Tacoma. Even their Urgent Care hours has gone down.

Woodland Urgent Care Center

Ashley Caines I have been here twice now for my step daughter. The first time was at peak season during winter and we waited an hour to be seen. Got her squared away with antibiotics for strep. Second time just yesterday we were in again to have another sickness checked to see if she needed antibiotics. This time they weren’t as busy, we were back in a room within 10 minutes. I could tell the doc had time yesterday and he spent that time talking deep with us about asthma, something I have been worried about with her but not what the visit was for. They got her swabbed for illness, and got us an rx for inhaler to try out for her and see if it helps. After reading some other reviews… I just want to say, this is an urgent care. This is like a place you use as a convenience for minor things like infections and basic medicine needs. This isn’t a place I would ever go to to try and diagnose some weird one off medical issue, nor a medical emergency. I love this place as we can get in quickly without waiting for an appointment to become available, and get the care we need when we need it. I generally know how to process and eliminate every sickness or injury our household gets, I monitor vitals and determine if we need urgent care, primary care, or ER and use google efficiently to monitor any combination of symptoms. I urge local community members to understand the differences of these facilities before bashing the little amount of healthcare services we are even blessed to have locally. Do not come here with broken bones expecting to get xrayed and casted, or with serious emergency situations. Walk in clinics are just that, basic medical needs for walk in customers. That also being said, if things are busy, understand that it’s first come first serve no matter the level of “emergency”, and I will absolutely advise if you are having a medical emergency, take the right actions the first time and go to the ER or call 911 services. Otherwise, I hope our community can continue to be blessed by the ease of having this urgent care clinic in our area. Thank you to the medical team for putting up with our community, in case enough people haven’t said it, WE APPRECIATE EVERYTHING YOU DO FOR US!!!!
