St Jerome Church - Hoquiam (WA)

5 /5 Compassion Divine “Ndathime”: Sunday, September 23, 2018 was my birthday. After Mass here, members invited me to the Church Hall for coffee and donuts. Though I was the only black person and a stranger, I enjoyed being in their midst. The priest stopped to share with me, another man happened to be celebrating his birthday on the same day, and a young girl sat joyfully listening as I explained to her about Abraham, our biblical patriarchy and his son Isaac.

5 /5 Patrick OBrien: After hearing so much negative press about Catholicism that didnt match up with how I was raised, we started looking into it on our own. What we found was that St Jerome was more in line with our walk with the Lord so we decided to make the move and have started going to St Jerome in Ocean Shores ever since. Father Michaels humility is apparent in leading mass. His homily is straight out of the Bible and presented in such a way that you cant help but feel more in line with God and centered in spiritual walk. My family has found it to be an oasis of spiritual clarity.

5 /5 Trinh Dinh: Its a cute little Catholic church, and we felt so welcome there. Everyone was super nice, and the service was great.

3 /5 Jessica Hoskins: Attended mass here while visiting from out of town. The priest gave a good homily, but it was a little hard to hear what he was saying. Noticed a couple of interesting things inside of this church: NO crucifix to be seen at the altar, and no confessionals present either! Ive been Roman Catholic for 4 years & this was the first time where I was in a "church" with no crucifix or confessionals present.
