1 /5 alexis overly: This church USE to be great for the community. They were part of the safe parking program for people homeless living in their car. You might be surprised to learn just how difficult it is to find a safe and legal place to park when you live in your car. Many of these people have income from SSI, with many disabilities, even missing limbs. Most are elderly, and unable to work. Their income isnt enough to afford the outrageous rent costs right now, and after spending their whole adult life working, are stuck being homeless, now without even a church of so called "Christians" to care. This church recently got a new pastor and they gave the parking lot guests letters with only 30 days notice that after "praying to God, it was the best decision to force these people to leave". These people have been on the housing wait-lists for years now waiting for their chance to get a place to live thats actually based on their income. God wants people to love their neighbors and help others when they can. These people living in their cars werent costing the church any money and have no where else to go. But they dont care. And to make things worse, they had the nerve to use God as their excuse. The day will come when they will face the lord for this horribly cold-hearted decision they made. Please, no one donate or give any money to this church that thinks its okay to cause such harm to their neighbors and community and the most vulnerable people that needed the help the most. They are not walking in the path of God and need to own their actions instead of attempting to blame God for their poor decisions.
