Puyallup Nazarene Church

Gabe Kilpatrick Grew up going here under Pastor Dave, my family helped work the AV system during worship, and my father and step-mother were married here. Its a beautiful, welcoming church with excellent youth activities- I had more fun here than I did in secular summer camp.

Gospel Life Church - puyallup

Michael Groome Reviewing a church feels odd because its not some local business. Nonetheless heres why I love this church. First off, you can read their statement of faith to know some of the foundations they believe, know that I agree so lets skip that stuff. They teach from the Bible. They mostly go through books and the sermons are not often topical. Every single sermon is brought back to the gospel and thats is the cornerstone of the church. Second thing I love about this church is the emphasis on community. They want to encourage and show a loving gospel community. This even showed in what they call their "community groups", that being Gospel Community Groups. There are no fancy light shows, though we do have some talented musicians and a wonderful sound team. Theres authentic biblical teaching and a call to live life together and serve the community and the world!

First Christian Church of Puyallup (Disciples of Christ)

Nora Reynolds They are partnered with the Freezing Nights Program through New Hope Resource Center. They shelter and feed homeless individuals who need shelter from the elements at night. They open their Church on Fridays. Its truly a blessing to have this Program.

Christ Episcopal Church - puyallup

Haley Humenik The concern for anti-LGBTQ sentiment at this church is entirely unwarranted. This is the most affirming, welcoming, accepting church Ive ever attended. No community is perfect, but one persons actions do not define the overall nature of the church. This is a lovely community full of open-minded people who care about social justice and serving Puyallup. The liturgy is cathartic and the sermons are progressive and poignant. Absolutely wonderful people. Human, imperfect, lovely people.

Celebration Church

Sarah Quevedo If you want to go to a church that is based on the love of people and meeting practical needs, this is the church for you. Pastor Chris is a man of much wisdom and teaches life lessons in a way that isnt hostile or in a way like hes talking down to you. We are all learning together at Celebration Center and that is why I love it so. Sunday school teachers are patient and loving to the children and the members are real people. I wouldnt go anywhere else. :D
