St. James Cathedral

Alex Matheson It was a pleasure visiting St. James Cathedral in Seattle. It is especially beautiful with the spring explosion of flowering trees! This Cathedral was built 1905-07 in the renaissance revival architectural style. The central gnome collapsed in 1916 due to heavy snow, and was replaced with a flat roof featuring a skylight. Renovated in 1950 and 1994, this cathedral is clearly well maintained and cared for. It is rightfully designated as a city landmark and is well worth a visit if you get the chance. This beautiful cathedral is well-known for its community outreach and the services it provides for those in need. Entrance is free, there is plenty of paid parking in the area, and there is no public access to the towers.

Roots Community Church Seattle

Kaylee McDonald I have been attended Roots Community Church for two months as I stay in Seattle during my college break. This church is full of loving people who seek to serve Christ through word and deed. They have plenty of opportunities to get involved in worship, ministry, and bible study groups. I highly recommend this church, wonderful people and staff.

Christ the King Catholic Church - seattle

justin law There is a young woman there who was helpful and kind enough to get me a new rosery for my passing father. She stood and listened to me even though it was nearing 2pm and her stomach was growling. A special note to her - thank-you... I gave him his rosery. He passed today roughly 2 hours ago. Thank you... So much...

Open Home Church

Kiné Camara Dope church, beautiful people. The pastors are loving, open minded, and so consistent. This is a place where you can become part of a community, explore and deepen faith through discipleship and have fun! I chose this church because I felt disconnected to the “business” of bigger churches. Was feeling like Sundays were about wearing a cute outfit, to attend a service with good music. Open home is like much more like the acts church. We support each other in real and tangible ways. There is commitment and flexibility. Lots of realness!!! No topic is off the table to talk about as a community and that is great.
