Kaylee Perry Im only giving 5 stars because the staff here is nice and they listen well and always help out when my husband has stomach episodes. My husband and i came in again today first time in a few months hes gotten sick like this, he has a cancerous cyst in his esophagus that causes issues with his stomach so he’s on a special diet until we find out what triggers him. Sometimes he eats something that sets him off and he ends up puking and dry heaving until he cant stand and he can’t keep any fluids down so i bring him here to get an IV with fluids so he doesnt dehydrate! The doctors, the nurses, the medical assistants, everyone here is wonderful they always listen to me and do great with him. What saddens me is today i was in the waiting room with him and there was a hand full of people staring at him while he was puking and dry heaving, and making comments and telling people not to sit next to us because they thought he was contagious even though i had clarified he is not and that its a pre existing condition. It became so uncomfortable to the point i wheeled my husband into the hallway and waited there and stood in front of him so no one could stare. Everyone in the waiting room didnt even show signs of being sick, no one was coughing or puking or pale or had any visible sickness. They all just sat around on their phones chit chatting and staring at my husband and making comments, and half of them got into a room before my husband who is in agonizing pain. One of the women in there kept announcing that she had cancer, and was even being disrespectful to the staff, and talking down of the staff saying no one here knows how to do their job, she offered me these odd candies for my husband and I politely turned her down and she immediately caught an attitude. Y’all need to grow up. Im sure if you were in my husbands position or my position you wouldn’t enjoy that either. So folks think before you speak.

Julie Piazza My husband has been at Providence for over a week due to some serious health issues. The staff, doctors, technicians and dietary personnel have been wonderful! The quality of care he has received has impressed us and this will be our hospital of choice despite the fact we live on the Oregon coast! Thank you to all of you for helping us through this very difficult time.

Carly Rush This was a smaller hospital that was slated to be demolished. Crew of 30 or so men and women selectively removed layers of material and safety contained and abated all asbestos. Happened to be this place had HUGE amounts of the bad stuff. Very time consuming hard work. Is still fun to drive machines into walls and rip the place apart.

Mary Williams I woke up with my left eye blurry. My doctor referred me to PeaceHealth Eye care. The Appointment scheduler found me an appointment the same day. The Tech that did the preliminary examine was very nice and professional. The Ophthalmologist who reviewed my examine was also very nice and professional. He explained what the procedure would be to help resolve my issue. He answered all my questions and concerns. I was able to schedule an appointment for the procedure in two days with Dr Valent. He explained every step of the process, answered all my questions and was very empathic with my concerns. My husband who was a nurse was impressed with his knowledge and his caring of my issue. The office is very professional and caring. I will be coming here in the future for my annual exams.

Jason Van Camp This review will only discuss the quality of care, since none of the billing has had time to process yet, and I see the concerns of other previous reviewers; I have had similarly ridiculous, convoluted issues with OHSU in the past, so I am wary of the fallibility of a health care providers billing department. My wife underwent a minor but still somewhat frightening procedure involving an epidural-like injection into her spine, to alleviate the pain and symptoms related to a pinched nerve between two vertebrae. Thankfully, she felt she was in good hands with Dr. Kafrouni who, despite looking a bit like a young John Kreese from Cobra Kai, was exceptionally caring, communicative, reassuring, knowledgeable, and clear in his descriptions of the procedure itself, as well as all after-care instructions. Whether this procedure will be the silver bullet that fixes my wifes issue has yet to be seen: the effects of the injection will take days to manifest, and a full vertebrae-replacement surgery is still in the cards if it doesnt). Either way, Dr. Kafrounis insight into the nature of her suffering, the likelihood of it being transient versus permanent, the symptoms to watch out for (in case of the latter), and the path towards total recovery, in addition to his excellent surgical prowess and incredible bedside manner, made the whole experience so much less frightening and frustrating as it could have been. PeaceHealth as an entity may not be perfect (far from it), but surgeons like Dr. Kafrouni arent far off the mark.

Kathaleen Parker My recent visit to the Kaiser Salmon Creek Medical offices for a Scan procedure was an easy experience in Vancouver WA. The campus had good parking, easy freeway access and made the appointment process comfortable, professional and friendly. Although there were lots of patients there on the day of my Radiology appointment, I was done and on my way home quickly. The Radiology clinician explained her process with kind professionalism. The organization and quality trained staff is making my rating of the Kaiser Permanente Salmon Creek campus a 5-star experience.

KEVIN BRYAN My Mother was treated for a stroke after being life flighted from Corvallis. Thanks to the hospitals quick action they operated very quickly to remove a blood clot and she made remarkable recovery. All the Drs, Nurses and support staff were absolutely top notch. They really took great care of her. Especially during a strike. All the people who came from out of state were a credit to their profession. The Doctors kept us informed and were compassionate and attentive to her needs. The Food was awesome! So fresh and still hot when delivered. Plenty of great choices for every meal of the day. Overall a fantastic experience. Thank you all.

Donna Richards Dr. Burton has been the greatest with our fur babies! Knowledgeable, experienced and some of the best prices we’ve had with vets. I love that he lays it all out for you and it never feels like he’s trying to push into doing too much/more than you need. His honestly and obvious love for your animals makes him one of a kind and a breath of fresh air.

sheilaalauddin I, sadly have needed the ER services twice lately and chose this ER over PeaceHealth. Both times I was treated with compassion and all my questions were answered before I was released. While I am sure that the cause of my ER visits got me to the top of the list of being seen…. I truly was amazed at how many people were in the ER. And while waiting in the lobby to be called back, I also was amazed at how some people use the ER for things that they could see their regular doctor or an urgent care for. I received excellent care from this hospital and am glad it was there for me in my time(s) of need.

Hope H Service is always top notch. A little longer than normal for wait times on this particular visit, but the staff are always courteous and prepared to answer all questions.
