1 /5 Kimberly Shirley: I booked to get my nails done for my wedding. She texted me trying to cancel my appointment less than 2 hours before, saying that she did not have the acrylic to do my nails. I am in the hair industry, so I was able to buy it and bring it with me. She reluctantly agreed to do my nails. The base of my nailbeds burned after she filed my nails with the dremmel. There was glue and acrylic under my nail. After the appointment, I had to file and chip off the chunks that were left. I have also had discomfort on my cuticles around my fingers since the appointment because there was acrylic sitting on my skin that she left. I got my nails done just 3 days before my wedding, and one of the nails snapped the morning of the wedding because of how thin they were. Greatfuly, I was able to glue it back on. I tipped extra because I could tell she didnt want to do it. Every part of my experience felt extremely unprofessional.
