2 /5 Jacqueline Jimenez: I’ve been on the search for a good church and decided to attend Life Church 7 based on the many great reviews. It’s a beautiful church, and upon arrival, we were greeted by a couple of friendly people at the door, which was a nice start.
However, once inside, it didn’t feel particularly welcoming overall. The music and worship were truly beautiful and heartfelt, which I appreciated.
That said, I was a bit put off during the offertory when the pastor said, “bless those who give.” I understand churches operate through donations, but wording matters—and not everyone is in a place to give financially. It would’ve felt more inclusive if that was acknowledged.
There was also quite a bit of talk around money and not judging, but ironically, I sensed some judgment throughout the message. What really stood out to me, though, was the mention of the president during the sermon. In my view, politics shouldnt have a place in church, especially in a setting that should feel open and welcoming to everyone.
Overall, while Life Church 7 has many good qualities, it’s not a church I’ll be returning to.
