3 /5 Vera Tkach: My experience started with a misunderstanding on my part. I booked a European manicure with a full set and nail design, but I didnāt fully read the service descriptions when booking. I assumed a āfull setā meant my natural nails would be covered with acrylic or gel enhancements, as is standard at most salons. However, thatās not the case at European Beauty Salon, which I only realized at my appointment.
When I brought this up, my technician
kindly accommodated my request and added a hard gel overlay to my session, which I appreciated. However, the process took about three hours, and she was unable to complete the French ombrĆ© design I originally requested. Instead, we had to settle on a simple āpearlā finish. On top of that, nowājust two weeks laterāmost of my nails are already lifting.
For reference, my nails were done on March 19th. I flew out for vacation on the 21st and returned on the 30th. I havenāt done any strenuous activities, so thereās no reason they should be lifting this badly. Considering I paid $140, I expected much better longevity.
To be completely honest, I could have gone to a regular salon and paid half the price for the same (or better) results. For me, the āEuropean beautyā experience just wasnāt worth it.
