5 /5 Carl Gunter: I had a meeting with pastor Matt and he let me share my story from when I was 6 months old & had bleeding ulcers & 8 operations by 1 years old till today when im 55 and had 15 total stomach operations and getting iron infusions weekly to stay alive, my father committed suicide by a gun, I was there, I tried suicide 4 times all from alcohol & sleeping pills, now on may 10th ill have 12 years sober!
it was a lot to say to someone I never had a conversation with before. However
Matt, the pastor, shared with me Gods grace, love ,peace compassion,hope !! Knowing that what I may be going through that Jesus will never leave me nor forsake me!! After a lifetime of health problems, I have no fear of passing away to be in heaven very soon, to receive a new body, no more tears, sorrow, or pain!! Only rejoicing in the love that Jesus has for me and to be in his presence!! I have run the race of life with my head held
high & during the times when I couldnt run, walk or talk! Jesus was carrying me, giving me the strength courage and energy to overcome the pain. Rather, it was physical or mental pain. i overcame it with Jesus !!
Hopefully, whoever reads this it can give you hope, comfort & peace in your heart too!! No matter what you may be going through, you are never alone! Jesus is with you ! If I can run this race and overcome all odds, so can you!!! With Jesus, all things are possible this much I know for a fact!! 100%.
