Vern Western I would recommend this shop 100%. I go over the positives and negatives in my reviews, but I have no negatives for No. 1 Auto Body. Everyone I came into contact with was friendly, informative, and professional. They made the process of repairing my Tesla Model Y as quick and easy as it could be. The technician texted me regularly to update me on the repair progress. They worked with the other (at fault) drivers insurance to ensure that my out-of-pocket costs were 0. They helped with the rental car company to facilitate a rental while the repairs were being done. They are certified by Tesla to do repairs on Tesla models, and they know the reqirements for ensuring calibration for the sensors and cameras used for full self-driving. They completed the repairs in the shortest time, and the final product was excellent- the repaired area looks like new. They even detailed the car inside and out at no extra charge. I have absolutely no complaints about No. 1 Auto Body, and I recommend them without question.

Mikaela Smith I brought my car in due to a headgasket issue, which turned into something much bigger, and I ended up needing a full engine replacement. Overall, the communication on Birchwoods end was amazing. They let me know what they would be doing and gave me price estimates each time something new would come up. They were finished with my car earlier than I would have imagined! The lady that answered the phone and was there when I brought my car in and picked it back up was very sweet and helpful for this process. Will be bringing my car back when the next thing comes up!

RICHARD SCHWARTZ Josh mentioned he would like to be a yoga instructor, the perfect temperament for someone trying to keep Vanagons alive and well! We made it all the way from Seattle to Bellingham on our Alaska trip before noticing an issue of concern (par for the course when on a Vanagon safari). He assessed the situation for us, walked us around the van for a pre-trip inspection and then took care of what needed to be done and pointed out things we should keep an eye on. Alaska here we come! Addendum to my review. For years we have not been able to use the heating/cooling controls on the dash to get outside cool air into the van, the air was hot no matter how we set the control levers (not fun on hot days). We have put off dealing with it figuring the entire dash would have to be pulled apart to get to the cables and it would cost a fortune. I mentioned it to Josh and he immediately grabbed a few tools, hopped into the drivers seat, popped off the cover over the gauges, and made a few adjustments. It took all of 10 to 15 minutes. Today we have cool fresh air coming in! Clearly Josh knows every square inch of these vans.

Leah Dutton From the initial call to the final pickup at Grand Central Collision the staff was friendly and kept me up to date. I was lucky my car was fairly common in Bellingham, so my estimate, repair and pickup was pretty fast. I was able to call and ask questions and they would communicate with me through my preferred method of notification. I am really happy with the results and they were able to make my car back to normal. Thank you for your hard work!

Brandon Nootenboom I purchased a new to me 2020 X7 that had been regularly maintained with receipts, but at 90k miles I wanted a professional opinion, recommendations and a full inspection. Upon speaking with Graydon, we agreed it would be a good idea to do a complete fluid and filter change as preventative maintenance. I am glad we did because as he suspected most of the "lifetime fluids" were pretty nasty. I believe that he is honest and has the customer and the vehicles best interest truly in mind. Thank you!
