She and I discussed my hair type and what would be best for my hair moving forward. From cut to color and even product recommendations. My whole friend group goes to Brenna. 100/10!

Angela Saber I adore this place. Christie and Brenna are so nice and talented. Brenna worked 7 hours on my hair to correct the mess Gene Juarez made on my hair. The ambiance is inviting, and Christies warm and humorous personality adds an extra layer of comfort. My lashes turned out beautifully, and the overall experience was delightful. Highly recommend Urban Parlor – a true five-star haven!

Madison Schupbach Juniper is so absolutely amazing, I for awhile won’t stop gushing about how good of a job she did. Exactly what I wanted to an absolute T and she’s so sweet!

Michelle Bryant I have been going to Brittany for a while and followed her when she moved to Jaymes Paige without hesitation. I have thick hair, and sometimes it can be a challenge. I love that Brittany took time to get to know me (and my hair). I feel comfortable asking her questions or for her opinion, and its a joy just chatting with her. Oh, and definitely ask her about hair products. The space is beautiful and clean and plenty of parking around the building. I cant recommend Brittany enough if youre looking for someone talented, thoughtful, and a generally damn good human.

Desiree Cavey Kearia was wonderful! She was fun to chat with while she worked, she listened to my requests and transformed my dull and boring hair into exactly what I had hoped for. I am so happy and impressed with her skill with hair color. ❤️

Emily Salmon I recently got my hair cut by Sara, and it was by far one of the best experiences. My hair was in pretty bad shape, and she worked wonders. Not to mention, I had the pleasure of meeting the other owners of the salon who were just as welcoming. I was laughing the entire time because of these ladies. One last thing, Sara supports many of her loved ones/local art which I think is pretty rad. I highly recommend stopping in to shop for the cute items and book an appointment with Sara for your hair! Affordable, welcoming and a good sense of humor.

Devon and her team are professional, easy to talk to, and make you feel beautiful with ease. They are creative and think outside the box no matter what service you’re requesting. They work with customers of all ages and all walks of life. Everything from a simple cut to people with medical conditions wanting just feel a little more normal in their appearance. Devon stays up to date with all the new technology out there and has taught at different conventions. If you’re looking for a new and creative look or you are someone with a medical condition wanting to feel normal again, you definitely need to see Devon!

Emma-Kate Schaake Devon is truly the best of the best and such an artist. She’s patient and listens well so I know I can always trust her to bring my vision to life (usually better than I imagined!) She is an expert of her craft and she understands both the chemistry and philosophy of great hair care and style. Case in point, blonde is hard on hair but every time I get my highlights, my hair actually feels better because of her process. Devon does everything she can to make sure her clients leave feeling like their most confident, beautiful selves. The new salon space reflects her vision as an artist in her attention to detail for a wonderful client experience. It’s stylish, clean, bright, and comfortable. Devon is warm, welcoming, and so much fun to chat with; I always look forward to relaxing, laughing, and treating myself. I couldn’t recommend Devon, her team, and her salon more highly.

Ambyr Goff Olivia is absolutely amazing! I have never had a better experience in the past almost decade that I’ve been getting my hair done professionally. She was incredibly gentle and patient with my super fine, easily-tangled hair, and she was kind enough to give me some pointers on how to manage it better in my own daily routine. She did such a wonderful job and the color turned out better than I ever could’ve imagined. I’ve gotten multiple compliments already because of the fantastic work she did. Olivia instantly makes you feel like you’ve been friends for years even when you’re meeting for the first time. Her studio is also gorgeous and very comfy. Words cannot adequately convey how much I enjoyed my appointment with her. I highly recommend scheduling an appointment with Olivia for any coloring or other hair services!

Makenzie Wright Olivia shares so much pride and devotion in her work. She tries all products herself, to ensure only the best for her clients. She is always learning to broaden her wisdom, she truly takes the time to really know what she is doing! She is the only one I trust coloring my hair, she is the absolute BEST. I have been seeing her for close to seven years now and I always leave her salon SATISFIED! She perfected my blonde taste over the years, but has also switched it up at my request. staci jorgenson Moe has been my hair stylist since 2013. She is truly the best and really cares about her clients and listens to what they need. She is amazing at coloring especially when it comes to being blonde. Ive always gotten a full head of highlights and a cut with styling. Im always truly amazed by her work and how she brings my hair back to life! She also has other services that are wonderful too. Its very easy to schedule an appointment and pick the services you need done. Moe will always take care of your hair needs because shes truly passionate with her craft. If I could give her infinite stars instead of 5 Id do it in a heartbeat! I definitely highly recommend Moe to be your stylist!

Crystal McLaren I do not live in Olympia, so about two months ago, I had extensions installed by someone (NOT Bri) in my hometown. They were not good quality and by the time move-up time came around, they were a mess. I desperately started calling places in the nearest "big city" and I found Bri (insert angel halo emoji here). Bri got me in on very short notice. She got my extensions out and we discussed what kind of cut I could do for my damaged hair. She ended up giving me the shortest hair Ive had in 30 years (collar bone length at my request) and it is so cute! I absolutely love it! She is wonderful to work with and very knowledgeable about various extensions and just everything! Definitely my go-to girl now! Also... Her pricing is reasonable, up front, and she doesnt nickel and dime you to death.

Danielle Vest Bri did an amazing job. She really wanted to clarify exactly what I wanted, and as she created her masterpiece in my hair, she made sure that it was comfortable for me as well! The workspace is beautiful, very inviting and she even got me Something to sip on. Pacific Logging & Processing Kara was great! I have had bad luck with other stylist understanding the blonde I wanted to achieve. All of her recommendations were spot on and she was truly pleasant to chat with. Don’t sleep on this hidden gem if you’re in need of a blonde specialist!

Brittany Woods Joshua is incredible! Had my first cut with him today and he nailed it PERFECTLY. I am 4 weeks postpartum and decided to do something very different. He made sure he knew exactly what I wanted and not only did it beautifully, but it was easily the fastest cut Ive ever gotten. Cannot recommend enough. Plus hes very nice which is always a plus!

Tehani Chan Today was my first time meeting Joshua and he was so lovely. Joshua keeps it real, which I really appreciated. You can tell he really cares about making others feel like their most beautiful self. I originally wanted something else, but gave Joshua the reigns to do what he felt would better complement me while maintaining my hair’s integrity. So glad I did that. Marleen Jensen I can not recommend Josh enough! My partners almost 18 year old daughter and I went to Josh today for total hair redo - I was fixing an old balayage that had grown out, it’s been 1.5 years since anyone has touched my hair. Daughter m my was wanting to go from predominantly red hair with multiple other colors blended in to a medium brown with subtle highlights, to get closer to her natural hair. Josh was incredible. He did EXACTLY what I wanted, both the cut and the color. He took the time on arrival and asked questions to fully understand what we wanted when we got there, and even called prior to the appointment to discuss options for daughter’s hair, gently making sure we understood what we were asking for (we didn’t, lol) He took two difficult tasks and handled them expertly, and semi simultaneously! The best part … we all chatted like BFFs the whole time, the time flew by. He is great with people, hilarious, honest, has a genuine heart, and is extremely talented. I highly recommend him. I have never in my life booked a follow up appointment at the time of service (I’m 43) but I did this time and am already excited for our next trip up. Thanks so Much Josh, you made us feel like Queens for the day ❤️

Jennifer Solheim Amy is wonderful. Took some time to get in as a new client but she was worth the wait. Decided to get bangs. She listened to my concerns and gave me great solutions. She did my foils with great precision and covered my grays beautifully and very naturally. Color was on point! Had my second visit for touch up and she was just as precise. We decided on light layers for my super fine hair and she did not disappoint. Oh and the scalp massage was so relaxing and I felt pampered the whole time. I highly recommend Amy

She first gave me a phenomenal haircut then the next visit highlighted my hair without going to extreme (she was given full range to choose from). Megan Clark I got a haircut here a while ago and was too anxious to put up a review until now. The stylist who did my hair just would not listen to my request. I requested a fairly simple cut, with bangs and layers (a cut I’ve had and enjoyed before) as I was just wanting to clean up from a previously grown out pixie. I went through the haircut and as we were getting closer to the end she still hadn’t done any layering or more than a very slight framing as the bangs. I showed her again my reference pictures and said it looks like there aren’t any layers. She insisted that I wouldn’t like layering and bangs, since it would be high maintenance and “would I do [styling] every day?”. I don’t like styling too much but my hair tends to naturally lay pretty nice so I don’t usually need to, and it’s my choice anyway and I was prepared for the adjustment. She kept insisting and said that if I didn’t like it in a few days I could come back and get it fixed up for free. Now sure, I could have gone back, and the haircut she gave wasn’t awful, just plain/boring and not what I asked for. But I shouldn’t have to take time out of my schedule to get what I originally wanted. I did stand up for myself and asked her to do the layers and bangs, which already should have been unnecessary, and even still she wouldn’t listen. The atmosphere of this place is very nice and I liked what I saw of the other stylists, but this stylist was very frustrating to work with and I left unhappy and having spent $70 on a cut style I didn’t ask for because “I wouldn’t like what I asked for”. Overall a negative experience and I won’t be returning.

Beth Posner Great experience! They were able to fit me in with less than a weeks notice (after my long planned haircut at a different place was cancelled last minute). Rob did a great job with my hair, gave me some great curls, and talked about options for quickie bang visits I can schedule in the future between cuts. Im very much looking forward to a future appointment where I can spend some extra time there to get some color with him. The salon is very cool with a lobby full of goodies that I need to spend more time looking at. During my cut, I loved looking at the live plants everywhere as they brought such a chill vibe. The location is ideal being right downtown and across from the Farmers Market which also means theres ample parking. With it being downtown I assumed the prices would be higher but they are very reasonable. Totally recommend!

(iykyk)- 10/10, no notes. And ✨Chelsea ✨ is a hair genius. I followed her to Stardust from her previous salon because of her talent with curly hair - and because an hour in her chair is a damn delight. She cares about her clients looking and feeling their best. Seriously talented - couldnt recommend her highly enough if you are looking for a stylist who knows her way around some curls (or any type of hair, really).

Emily Basara Olivia is a MAGICIAN! Picture this: youre me (rough, I know). Its been 3 years since you last cut your hair and you are at the point, length-wise, where even going to the bathroom requires an updo to remain sanitary. If that much info is too much for you, too bad. I was living it. Im very particular about my hair while also being a very low-maintenance girlie, which is somewhat of a paradox but I am who I am. I wanted a dramatic cut to reflect the punk within, with some stipulations like needing to be able to put my hair up afterwards. Olivia listened patiently to what I wanted, then gave me the haircut that I NEEDED. Not only do I LOVE my new hair, it also fits all my requirements - easy to style, can still be pulled into an updo, and low-maintenance to boot. Id recommend this salon and Olivia in particular to anyone who asks. Photos are before & after!

Donna Hoffert I loved my Grandmother, a lovely woman, but turning 70 I didn’t want to look like her. I walked into Myong Sae Salon and said, “I want a new look. Appointments with Myong Sae have been uplifting and life changing. She is a master artist/stylist, always current on latest styles, color, cuts, techniques, and research that promotes healthy, beautiful hair and skin. Seeing one client at a time, you are her primary focus and it becomes a spa-like experience filled with kindness, encouragement, intelligent conversations, positive tips to improve your sense of well-being, and humor. You will leave feeling lighter and beautiful inside and out. Be prepared to be approached by strangers in a store or on the street complimenting your hair and asking for the name of your stylist. The quality of care, the atmosphere, the place, everything about this salon; I find it hard to describe with mere words. A spiritual experience that leaves you looking and feeling GORGEOUS AF. TLDR: I highly recommend this place to every woman on this planet. Just know you are in the safe, talented hands of Myong. I needed a haircut and I picked this place because it has a cat. I will now make it a rule when in doubt to picking anything, follow the cat. I attached a picture of the permanent eyeliner Myong worked on, its literally perfect and I cannot have done it better myself (its not an exaggeration- I know for sure, I cannot). But the best part is Myong herself, she is kind and accommodating and believe in making you look as beautiful as you deserve to be. A brilliant artist who takes pride in her work, exudes feminine Queen energy and grace, but still make you feel safe and loved. She is my hair mom now and always

Maryann Giuffrida Facial magician. Simple as that. I don’t like giving out five star reviews for nothing, but she is skilled, kind, and accommodating. I drive an hour each way to see her, but she is worth the drive. Her salon is well decorated, comfortable, inviting. I had my eyebrows done, and she was very meticulous. I did not feel rushed, and she asked for my input during the entire process. She asked if I wanted my brows thinner or thicker, and she offered recommendations, but she was happy to listen to my preferences. I want to keep her services a secret but I’ll be generous since it’s the holiday season :-). All the artwork was created by her!

Jerry Otto Ann Jones took the words out of my mouth. Myong Sae Salon & Spa is simply the gold standard for a salon. Each appointment has resulted in a beautiful haircut. Myong is extremely talented and very professional. I’m asked quite often who cut my hair. A great testimonial!!
