The rest of staff made sure I was comfortable as well over beverages and snacks. I loved my experience. And felt beautiful when I left.

Mel I had a great time at Legacy Hair! Alayna gave me almost the exact cut of the photo that I brought for reference, and only added input to see if I would be comfortable with a few parts of the styling. Through the entire process, she let me know exactly what she was doing, why she was doing it, and which parts could be changed on a later day if I wasnt happy with it. Ive had some mixed experiences with hair stylists and salons in the past, so this was a really nice change! If youre debating this salon because of the price, know that they make it 100% worth it every step of the way :)

Amy Campbell All of the girls here at the salon were so amazing and courteous! Always checking in and making sure you’re comfortable and have water/tea etc and snacks! Nathaly and Caryn were absolutely phenomenal. They both pay extreme attention to details and went above and beyond to ensure my hair turned out amazing!! Briddick Webb As a busy real estate professional, it’s important to make sure I look as sharp as I can. Sonja has been cutting my hair for years and is fantastic. She’s very experienced and knows exactly what I like and also offers suggestions on how I can change up my look and “grow it out” in a way that’s still stylish. Vanity has a great system that texts you a day before your haircut so you don’t forget. Can’t recommend enough.

Nicole Schierberl Mandy has been cutting my hair for almost 20 years and she is simply the best. I love this place - I always feel so comfortable there and the conversations are so honest and real. I cant imagine going anywhere else for a hair cut. Its not the fanciest place in town but its genuine and its always a joy to be there.

If you are lucky enough to have Valerie do your hair you not only have incredible master stylist work and walk out feeling like a super model, but she doesnt price gouge which means the world to me. Add to that ... Shes just an amazing human who I guarantee you will feel blessed to know. Look no further for your stylist, Valerie is the best!

Jessica Wheless I went in May, my original hair stylist left Lucy b hair ( Jaqueline) and I decided to take a chance and try Diane. This didn’t go well, the whole time I heard about how “my hair is hard to deal with” and that she “ would never do her sisters hair willingly because it was coarse and curly like mine”. Well I went and had it looked at and updated at Legacy hair co. Recently, my new stylist at LEGACY HAIR CO. was pretty astounded to see black dye( which I don’t have) in black sections in the back of my head. It took me over 400$ just to fix Diane’s mistakes. I won’t be coming back. I highly recommend Legacy hair company if you want a place to be detail oriented about your hair especially with curly or coarse hair!

WandrnWmn First time seeing Leana and I was nervous. My hair is curly/ wavy/ does what it wants and is hard for some to cut, plus I have allergies to ingredients in products and can’t use most of them. Diane was doing my hair and I loved how she was able to work with it but she is gone now and I decided to give Leana a try. Leana is friendly, professional, and listened to what I wanted. The hair cut is just the way I hoped. She did a great job and I’ll definitely be making another appt with her.

I really appreciated that Salon Tryst does on site hair and make up for as few as two people. I let my bridesmaids choose if they wanted to have hair and make-up done, which they appreciated. I booked Salon Tryst over email and was impressed how quickly they responded. They answered all my questions and made the process painless. On the day of the wedding my stylists, Leah and Anna, arrived precisely on time. It was so much fun having them in the room while we were getting ready. Mia Barklind Tart Beauty went above and beyond our expectations!!! They arrived early, fully prepared and made the morning fun and exciting. Leah & Anna gave suggestions and insight into our looks which was truly appreciated! They are the most experienced professionals that I have dealt with. And we had quite a group!! (12 people for them to take care of before my wedding). My family, friends, and guests kept raving about our hair and makeup throughout the day. Ive also had hair color, shampoo, cut and blow dry by Terri May, the owner of the salon. Terrie is extremely gentle and patient with her customers. Prices are reasonable. The setting in the salon is serene and calming. Terrie is professional in every sense of the word. I highly recommend any of the services she provides at her salon. JamesAndEsther Price Terry is the best! Go here if you want someone with experience to give you the best quality at exceptional value. I asked for highlights with toner, some root, and a cut. She did exactly what I wanted but also gave me tons of helpful advice on how to best care for and protect my hair long term. I have thick hair and it usually takes 3-6 hours (a long time in a chair!) she had me done in 2.5 hours with a fabulous blowout/style to boot. Her salon is charming and her prices can’t be beat. Amy Hurst I always get a ton of compliments on my hair when I get my hair done at MayDays. The people who work here have years of experience and use top quality products. I especially love this refreshing shampoo they use. It feels like Im in a top of the line spa and my hair cuts are so relaxing and pleasant. Erin Flowers From start to finish my experience here was wonderful! When I called to schedule the appointment I told Robin I had a “hair project” as my hair was a bit of a disaster after some processing at another Bellingham Salon. Robin was so sweet on the phone- she made me feel heard and I already had a good feeling. When I arrived early the next morning Donna greeted me with such a warm and inviting personality. She listened as I explained the what happened and she came up with a game plan to start repairing my ruined hair! She included me in the game plan often checking in with me to make sure we were on the same page and to let me know what she was going to do next. She managed to take the mangled mess of mush on my head and turn it into something my BFF described as “luscious and beautiful” I will need to continue coming back for conditioning treatments as my hair heals- but I’m okay with that because they’re so great! Hailey Lyons I’ve been going to Mircles since the year she opened. Theirs not a lot of hair braiders in Whatcom that can keep it clean looking. Miracle knows what she’s doing. The vibes she sets at her office is warm, outgoing and makes you feel like you’re going to meet up with your bestie and catch up on all the things in life. She allows you to set the tone with the conversation. If you wanna just chill thats cool or if you’re needing to vent she’s your girl. Her price is fair and overall pleased with everything she offers!

They are also taking COVID-19 very seriously, requiring temperature checks and hand washing upon walk-in. Staff are wearing gloves, masks, eye protection and thoroughly sanitizing everything. I definitely feel safe when I am coming in for my appointments. If you have to book with anyone, check out Jess. Jess is amazing! After a decade of dying my hair jet black, I decided to join the light side. Jess was very transparent with the process and all the steps involved. She explained everything she was doing in between the fun banter! She made sure the integrity of my hair was in tact and somehow after the lengthy chemical process my hair feels healthier than it did. I appreciate the care and work she did on my hair, she is now my go-to gal!

Paige N Karly is hands down one of the best stylists I’ve ever had! I’ve had so many great hair colors with her and she’s always so great to talk to and not like other stylists I’ve had where the conversation feels very forced or routine. I recently tried out a different color that I ended up being slightly apprehensive about and when I mentioned that she took me back in and completely transformed my hair. I felt awful for not being a fan of the color once it was on my hair but she made me feel so comfortable and at ease that it was not a problem and she’d get it fixed! She even gave me some silver shampoo and conditioner to take home to keep it fresh and ashy. I would recommend her to absolutely everybody as she’s truly such an amazing stylist, as well as she is the owner of the salon!

Jennifer Bethke Lexi is a magician with fine wavy/curly hair. It has been almost a year since Ive seen her, and I STILL like how my hair is growing out. I hadnt been able to grow it out, until she gave me a cut that worked for my hair that I wear wavy or straight depending on my mood.

She gave reccomendations on products and styling tips that I will incorporate into my daily routine from now on. She asks the right questions in order to get a firm understanding of how you want your hair to look and feel. I was nervous about switching stylists and she blew my expectations out of the water. Will continue to see her for as long as she is cutting hair!

Mine had been stuck in the awkward, Lord Farquaad stage of that process for longer than I anticipated, and it was really dragging me down. I figured Id come in and get it reshapen enough so that I could live with it for the time being. But, Marlene worked nothing less than straight up magic - I LOVE my new hair! Besides doing an incredible job, she was very approachable, fun to talk to, and made sure I was comfortable in every step of the process. Ill definitely be coming back and recommending to others!

Northstar Stone & Landscape Supply I have been a client of Sarahs for a couple of years. She is the BEST! She always styles my hair exactly how I love it but also gives me her professional advise on new things to try. The salon itself is very clean and spacious. I would highly recommend to give it a try just one time. I promise you will want to go back again and again.

Lacey T Amy is incredible. Shes been doing my hair for years, and shes the only reason I go here (so far). I never really know exactly what I want, so I let her do whatever she wants and I always come out looking like a movie star. She gave my 3 yo his first hair cut and it was quick and looked good (every time I cut his hair it looks like I let him do it himself). The boutique is cute and they have some trendy, reasonably priced fashion jewelry. Havent had a chance to try the spa, but it looks very nice. They do it all!
