iFLY Melbourne Indoor Skydiving - Essendon Fields

Clair We brought our son here to celebrate his birthday. He freaked out and was very nervous however his instructor Sam and the team working on the same day were exceptional. We cannot fault the amount of care and professionalism by the team and absolutely recommend this experience to anyone who is looking to combat their fears and try something incredible. Thanks again. We will be back! (Nicholas aged 6)

A J Davis Reserve - Airport West

lazydazs Beautiful walking/running/cycling track, plus kids play area. The main oval is being used for both cricket and during winter for Rugby (Western Wolves) .On Sundays there are also show dog trials . The new children"s adventure playground is a knockout piece of landscaping .It caters for the very small children to teenagers .Of course the downside to this additional recreational activities is the fact that during the week there are no public toilets.I can understand why because apart from the additional expense ,the place is rather quiet at night and would be subject to vandel attacks etc.Still I needed to put this in ,as its a fair and true description of these beautiful facilities. Its great to see the Local Councils doing what they were elected to do.Well done!

Cooks Cottage - East Melbourne

Daniel Cooks’ Cottage is such a fascinating stop within the stunning Fitzroy Gardens – one of those hidden gems that makes a stroll through the park even more special. Originally built in Yorkshire, England in 1755 by the parents of Captain James Cook, this little cottage has quite the story. Although Captain Cook never actually lived there, the connection to his family was strong enough for Sir Russell Grimwade to go to incredible lengths to bring it to Melbourne in 1934. Every single brick was carefully numbered, packed into barrels, and shipped across the globe – even the ivy came with it! It’s a quirky slice of history nestled among beautiful gardens, and a great way to learn about early colonial ties between England and Australia. Just one of many reasons to explore Fitzroy Gardens – there’s so much more than just green space here!

Melbourne Zoo - Parkville

Leon B Had an awesome day out at Melbourne zoo. Great place for the family! Managed to get round in 5 hours but even then we thought we moved fast. Would definitely recommend a two day visit if you want to read everything and enjoy it. Looking at getting the pass and also doing the camping under the stars! Will be back!

Aircraft Viewing Area - Bulla

Luodi Best place to view airplanes landing in Melbourne. A little kiosk with coffee, tea and kebabs is on site for a little refreshment. Surprised to see some outdoor seating as well! All told a great spot. I might bring some camp chairs next time.
