Jeff Ray Melbourne Cable Park stands out as a top-tier outdoor recreation facility, offering a range of activities that cater to both thrill-seekers and families looking for a fun day out. Its combination of unique attractions and commitment to visitor satisfaction makes it a must-visit destination in Melbourne. We rallied a group of ten people, which not only made the experience more enjoyable but also turned out to be more cost-effective. We chose to do the Aqua Fun Park—the inflatable obstacle course on the water. It was super fun but absolutely exhausting after multiple attempts to climb over obstacles and make it across without falling in. You definitely need some upper body strength, so hitting the gym beforehand might be a good idea! ;) I’m keen to try out the other activities that they hold. There were heaps of parking. They have a nice cafe with nice wooden benches. The only complaint would be the entrance to the inflatable obstacle course—a slimy ramp that made getting in a bit tricky. Also, the lack of indoor showers meant we had to rinse off using outdoor showers, which wasn’t ideal. Melbourne Cable Park is a fantastic adventure spot for groups and families. If you’re up for a challenge and some serious fun, it’s definitely worth a visit!

Jake Cini Great to take your reactive dog. Large pathways and dogs should be on leash. The wide pathways allow you to see if there are any other dogs around. Lots of shade and space.

Kerbray A lovely walking / running track around the Wetlands. Its about 5 km around the circular path and not too crowded at all. Dogs are allowed on leash given the wealth of wildlife in the area, and theres an off leash dog park towards one side of the Wetlands. As the name suggests, the grass can get very damp during certain months, but the trail is generally clear.

karin penrose Loved this park Fantastic play area for the kids. Lots to keep them busy. Has bbqs and undercover shelters. Plenty of parking. Also dog friendly Park. Definitely will go again

Trish Fauvrelle Had a wonderful afternoon visiting the homestead and gardens. Very knowledgeable volunteers who highlighted great historical facts about the place and its items. Devonshire tea was delicious and we couldn’t help ourselves and also had their hummingbird cake, sitting outside in the garden. The day was delightful and the weather was being kind. Great day out.
