Sean Otto Nice park. Dog friendly. Public toilets. Canteen available but possibly only when a game is playing. No kids playground. Few nice statues around to have a look. Cricket batting cages and pitch in the middle of the football oval.

Bhagesh Chauhan This place is well maintained by the club. Nice facilities provided to the young players and keeps them motivated to come to the field. Canteen and restrooms are well maintained. Got BBQ options so if it’s nice and sunny you can have nice BBQ. Parking could be an issue as I don’t see much space there for the parking and most of the people have their cars parked on the nature strip.

George from In Focus healing and wellness clinic This is a great family destination for both young and big kids. The mini train is always an enjoyable experience, and the volunteers do an amazing job!

M Mohebbi Very beautiful park, lots of activities for kids, and also lots of parking and barbecue places. What makes it more beautiful are the old and tall trees there.

CL16 Absolutely amazing local landmark! The Trestle Bridge is a must see landmark for rail-enthusiasts.

Paul McLaughlin A good all round park with BBQ and picnic facilities, playground, park gym equipment, football oval, walking path (about 1km) and leash off dog area.

Greg Moloney On the Yarra river at Eltham. A wonderful spot to visit and sit by the river. There are no picnic facilities or public conveniences here. The area remains in its natural state. This spot was my swimming hole in the 1950/60s. It hasn’t changed. It’s a short, steep walk down to the river. The no dogs etc sign relates to the Parks Victoria managed area.

Michael Walker Good local ovals for kids to play on and kick the footy. Kids enjoyed watching womens football matches a few weeks ago when they were played here. Local cricket teams also play here in summer. Also nice to go for a walk along the river path.

Scott Taylor Quite and scenic park. Home to eastern grey kangaroos and native birds. I’ve seen wombats and echidna’s here however this is rare. Swampy area with many frog species. Beautiful bird song. Area accessible by walking track.
