5 /5 Sean Nairn: Small garden planted with rosemary alongside the tram line at Port Melbourne as a tribute to soldiers of WWI who passed this spot on their way to Princes Wharf before joining the fighting in Europe. A quiet spot for reflection. The North Port Hotel is just across the way for a drink or meal, otherwise jump on a tram to Port Melbourne for more options.

5 /5 Adam G: This Remembrance Garden in North Port was established to mark the end of the Anzac Centenary.  The centrepiece is the peppercorn tree however, three trees will be the living memorials – elm, pine and wattle.  The garden beds are thickly planted with rosemary. Its a garden for reflection and commemoration.  The location is significant as troops travelled by train (now replaced by the 109 light rail trams) along this route to the piers for embarkation. Its very easy to find and get to. Its just near the North Port 109 Tram stop. Theres a filtered water station just south of the garden in Walter Reserve. Two information boards explain the garden and its significance.

2 /5 Annabelle Leve: Nicely maintained however... Went to solemn remembrance Day event. Was spoiled by teams passing, motorbikes passing by, and worst of all, a loud outside pub gig on the other side of the tram line.
