Vicky Rastelli Fantastic place to disconnect from the city, enjoy fabulous views, drink tasty wines and eat delicious french cooking. Hostess and water were lovely, the pinot noir was delicious, main dish was Beef Bourguignon and it was fantastic and the Tarte Tatin, on this modern presentation totally surprised me!!! Im coming back for the Casserole.

Adrian Millard This is a lovely well maintained large park. The trees are beautiful and the grass is lush. The playground is also good.

Montrose Vineyard - Montrose

Eddie Zhou The experience was very bad. There were obviously many places to park, but there were no instructions, causing me to park my car on someone elses private land. Moreover, the proprietress is very stingy. The mobile phone signal here is not good. I wanted to contact my family to ask for the WiFi password, but I was rejected directly. Moreover, grapes are used for making wine. They are not tasty even after being picked, so they can only be squeezed for juice. In short, this is originally a winery, not an orchard.

Mount Dandenong Arboretum - Mount Dandenong

Xiu Chorng Yeoh Incredibly peaceful, but can be boring for certain people or children because there isnt much to see. There are two benches near the entrance with great panoramic view. Plenty of parking spots available and a bus stop nearby, but the bus has one to two hours frequency, so plan ahead.

Yileena Park - Yarra Glen

Amanda Elkoumi Scott was absolutely lovely, extraordinarily helpful and had a wonderful demeanor. The winery itself is very small and intimate, would recommend calling ahead if you want to visit. The wine tasting was great, you’ll get a taste of both white and reds (my faves were the Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon) and we opted for the dip plate for some nibbles, was quite perfect. The views are stellar from the upstairs balcony. Really enjoyed our visit here!

Gulf Station Historic Farm - Yarra Glen

Dawn Marotti Great experience of how settlers used to build their buildings, and the amount of work it took to keep the farm and house running. The volunteers do a wonderful job keeping it all running and explaining the story as our guides. Very valuable peice of history.

Maroondah Reservoir Park - Healesville

Paulina Osorio I went to Maroondah Reservoir Park on a sunny day and it was a beautiful experience. The route to the viewpoint has spectacular landscapes and many areas for photos. The reservoir is impressive and you can breathe a lot of tranquillity. Ideal for a picnic, walking or just disconnecting. There are bathrooms and free parking near the entrance. It is recommended to bring water, sunscreen and camera. I would go back without thinking about it.

Punt Road Wines - Coldstream

Richard Little Cheeseboard and cider make this a perfect lunchtime stop. The venue is popular and offer cellar door experiences, cider tastings plus a picnic lunch where you can make your own picnic hamper. Outside there were benches and picnic blankets and some live guitar music to enjoy. Service is friendly and welcoming too.
