Victoria Park (Parks Victoria) - Kew

Phil Tad Fantastic park with wide range of facilities. A new playground for kids was recently opened in October 2022. The park also has a small basketball court and BBQ facilities. Perhaps one of the best things about the park is that it is home to the local Kew cricket and football clubs, who are quite strong and competitive in their local competitions. The park also has great areas for Sunny picnics and good access for walking or bike riding.

Lyon Housemuseum - Kew

吴思颖 Attended a talk here about House Museums and I believe this space to have such a true overtone of art appreciation. As a believer of art spaces with intent for effective succession I absolutely love the heart beat of the space. The management team is extremely down to earth as well. To many more years and milestones ahead.

Galatea Point -

Audrey Namie Fukuhara It’s great for a walk and hike, beautiful views await at many points of the trail and some parts you have to walk in through tall grass so be careful not to slip (I used my hiking shoes for this trip) and there are many slopes and inclination points during the whole trail as well

Alexandra Gardens - Kew

Loraine Angammana This is a lovely park located next to Kew library. There are so many sitting areas with benches and tables where you can relax. There is one big summer hut with seating facilities. A great place for a family picnic. The garden has barbecue facilities and I noticed few water taps too. There’s a very small play area just around the corner (not like a playground) but with some wooden animal sculptures and wooden branches to play. It also has a notice saying no dogs are allowed in the play area. There were couple of people who were with their doggies, I’m not sure if that notice is applicable just for the play area or to the whole garden.
