1 /5 Sagarika Arora: I recently visited this salon and had a very disappointing experience. Upon arrival, there was no one at the reception. I smiled at a staff member who was busy doing someone’s hair, and she smiled back, which I took as an acknowledgment of my presence. I then waited in the waiting area for almost an hour, assuming someone would attend to me for my haircut.
Eventually, another staff member came over—not to assist me, but to tell me they couldn’t accommodate my haircut. To make things worse, as I was leaving, I overheard the stylist say she had assumed I was there for threading and that I didn’t communicate my purpose. Seriously? Isn’t it the staff’s responsibility to ask and clarify, especially when a customer has been sitting there waiting for so long?
I chose to be polite and not disrupt anyone, but this basic lack of communication and initiative from the staff was frustrating. It’s the salon’s job to communicate with customers, not the other way around. This lack of care and professionalism was unacceptable.
