1 /5 Anh Nguyen: 25/03/2025 UPDATE: After nearly a whole year they finally refunded me and also asked me to take the review down but I’m keeping this up because this is the truth. They may improve their service now but I can’t vouch for that. It’s best you discuss with them thoroughly beforehand. EDIT: They threatened me. Said “You better take the review down or you will hear from my lawyers”. LET’S THIS BE YOUR SIGN. This place is just pure unprofessional. For anyone who is planning to go, please consider reading this first. 1. It’s already a major red flag when some of the reviews are clearly fake or bots. 2. Overpriced and the prices on the website/social media are misleading. They will charge you double even triple. The price for my service was made up at the spot, the lady literally grabbed my head to count the extensions. She doesn’t even know how to do the math, mumbling and calculating in her head. I had to pull out my phone calculator to help her. 3. Unorganised booking system, they won’t remember when and what service you booked. The lady while treating my hair had her headset on and accepting booking at the same time no noting/recording nothing. My experience. 1. I got keratin bonding extensions just to cover my bangs so not even 1/5 of the head. Charging me over three hundreds not including surcharge is OVERPRICED PERIODT without styling or at least cutting the extensions for it to blend with your natural hair like other places. They will charge you extra and the hair dresser in charged of the cutting is not even there you have to wait for them to come. It doesn’t matter if they discussed beforehand the prices are still horrendous for such amateur skills. This is not okay especially for the people who are getting treat for the first time. They wouldn’t know. 2. No time management system what so ever, I literally went to the boutique made a booking, showed up early but they still made me wait for half an hour with the excuse of the client before me ran late (that is their responsibility not mine) and not until I said I will leave that is when they panicked and started treating me. 3. Unprofessional and ignorant in their own field. They did not shade match my hair. Some of the keratin bond strands were in a tangled messy bunch which I assumed are leftovers from another client. They did not part my hair properly so the extensions ended up messy and uneven. The application was inconsistent with parts have too much hair and the others don’t have enough. Also burned my scalp with the bond fusion iron multiple times. 4. Side effects. I suffered horrible headache, irritation and redness due to the way they placed the extensions too close to my scalp. The size of the bond does not match the density of my hair. Way too thick extensions on one small real hair strand put on an incredible weight, actively pulling my hair and hurting my scalp. Too much keratin was melted in to my hair that the extra residues keep peeling off and sticking on to my real hair cause breakage. 5. Poor attitude. Besides telling me today is not my day because I was rightfully stressed about waiting for them plus the lady stopped mid way of doing my hair to greet her friend (not a client) then chat about how “great” the store looks for quite a bit, I don’t have much to say. I should have done more research before coming to Frika but I was instead rushed and lets this happened to my hair. So please your hair and scalp healths are very important. The side effects can impact you greatly so don’t waste your time, money here just to end up damaging them. Literally writing this at 1am because the headache hurts so badly, I can’t sleep. I tried to contact them the next day and got ignored. EDIT. Got them removed super gentle but I still lost a bunch of hair and now have bald spot. The damage is irreversible.

5 /5 Chaille Grogan: I went to Frika today for the first time. To be honest I booked a month ago and cancelled because the reviews freaked me out. But I did some looking into it and I was happy to continue. The girls were so lovely. The hair is wonderful quality , install was seamless. They look beautiful and I feel great… cost was explained well, no final surprises and I will be back! Thanks girls ! I’m glad I did my own research as the previous reviews don’t reflect today’s experience.

Ive been visiting them for years, and their professionalism and exceptional standards in cornrows and hair extensions are unmatched. Each visit is a delightful experience, and Im always thrilled with the results. If youre looking for top-notch service and beautiful styles, look no further. Thank you so much Connie you’re beautiful!
