Ferndale Park - Glen Iris

Cecilia Wong Nice park land with a good playground and a large oval for kids and dogs to run around. Close parking too. Park is connected to a series of other parks so you can go for a nice long walk. Heaps of dogs and runners and cyclists though so it can get very busy. Cafe right across the road has decent coffee and an outdoor seating area. Overall lovely area to visit. Look forward to next time.

The Grange Reserve - Clayton South

Clement Maloney A lovely obscure park where one of two events took place decades ago: 1. A weather balloon came down. 2. An event which has been described as one of the most significant UAP events in recorded history — perhaps the most significant event i.e. there were about 100 witnesses in the one location. Merely pondering the possibility of the latter lends enormous presence to the location. Highly recommend for both fun and UAP seekers...

Lewin Reserve - Glen Iris

John Locke A nice area for sports in the cricket field, walking dogs, running, cycling and picnic. There are also a playground and walking trails which cyclists also ride along, so be careful. Remember to visit the nearby Burke Road South Wetland and Gardiners Creek Trail as well because there are lovely swans, ducks, butterflies, bees and flowers.

Kingsley Gardens - Mont Albert

Max Li I live near this wonderful park and come here often. This is a great park with old trees, benches, a playground, cooker and fresh air to endure everyones needs. Plus, this place is pet-friendly, and has a patch of open area suitable for flying kites, drones and frisbees.

Highfield Park - Camberwell

Peter Campbell Nice open space and trees around the perimeter. Two sporting ovals, the lower one is a friendly off leash area for dogs. There is an automatic toilet on the side of the club building. Both ovals are frequently used for sport. The outdoor gym in the north east corner of top oval is popular. The playground is popular and has some shade covers.
