4 /5 Kim Buckley: Had a piercing with Taylor, she scratched the inside of my nose- lots of bleeding and swelling immediately after. Had to take the piercing out and put in the temp plastic bar. No after care about swelling and this was reported to their head offices. Got a lovely follow up call from the manager to express sympathy at my experience. Offered a refund and gift card as compensation. Nose swelling has gone down and healing is underway. Got another call from manager to check in with me recently- very happy with how they’ve handled the situation. Will recommend.

5 /5 Paola Castelli: Came here for my first wax toward the start of the year and thank goodness I did because it was absolutely wonderful! I was a bit nervous beforehand, but Taylor was very reassuring and made me feel so comfortable and now I look forward to seeing her every month! Not only did she do magic with my waxing but has taught me how to take care of the area between sessions. She is so incredibly kind and easy to talk to and I am so so happy with the results and will be definitely be back! Thank you Taylor for all your work ❤️

I always feel so comfortable with her and look forward to a lovely catch up each month ☺️ She also recommends the best products for my skin type to use in between appointments! 1 /5 Rustum Daniels: My 5 year old daughter was very excited to get her ears pierced so we took her to Essential Beauty & Piercing. The woman at the front desk explained the difference between the “push through” (gun) method and using a needle to “make a clean hole in the ear” rather than pushing through the ear using the gun. We were informed that the needle would be cleaner and faster; and we were advised that the titanium earring was the best option. My wife selected the needle and titanium stud for my daughter, which lead to her ears being extremely inflamed after using the needle (in comparison with using the gun). The earrings have fallen out twice since having them inserted on Saturday (3 days ago) which has left my daughter in tears because her ears are so painful. She has decided that she does not want earrings anymore. It seems that the advice from Essential Beauty is coming from a poor understanding of the science of using a gun to pierce the ears and using a standard stud with butterfly backing as they are piercing purists which is not appropriate for young children who are getting their ears pierced for the first time. I would not recommend this service for anyone planning to pierce their child’s ears.
