Emerald and District Museum - Emerald,VIC

Livinia Sheridan This was so fun and cool to see. My dad suggested we go after seeing it on google maps and I was very skeptic and not interested at all. But after we went in it was amazing. The amount of work and care put into making and maintaining it is incredible and it’s so cool to see. I would definitely give it a go if you are around the area!

Yubo Zhuo Very beautiful railway and recommended to sit on the left side when going to Belgrave and right side for coming from Belgrave so you can see the best views. Many photos can be taken. Recommend to wear a face mask for people who have dust allergies because the smoke is quite thick and there are bits of charcoal inside the smoke. There are many local residents waving at you when you are on the train and the big bridge section is great view. Book your tickets ahead if it is holidays.

Nick P This park is one of the stops on the Puffing Billy Railway. The park has a small lake with picnic bences. Very quite and peaceful area. There is a cafe there with good food options. Also , souvenir shops. The park is free to enjoy, and the benchs are first come, first serve Ticket - $0

Talitha Margerison Little hidden gem, the playground is great for young kids. You can walk along the creek and have a picnic. The market held there is really good too, showcasing some amazing local artists.

Simon Neill Its a very nice station that trains stop at to fill up at and let guests explore around while they wait. I got a good photo of the last train of the day getting ready to leave with the passengers. Very nice.

Rob the Nomad Exceptional stunning garden to see, such a beautiful array of vibrant colors from different leaves of Japanese Maples with highly manicured gardens that you can take endless pics of. Nice place to relax and enjoy the natural splendor of native and imported plants with century old trees. Lloyd Smyth Wonderful day out - can recommend the days before Easter long weekend as a great time to visit! Beautiful weather, smaller crowds, lots of opportunities to see animals up close without any time pressures! Nice food and toilet facilities throughout the park, including picnic tables. April is a great time to visit with the trees providing plenty of shade even in the middle of day. Our favourite animals on this trip included the Goanna, Echidnas and Koalas!
