Sorrento Museum - Sorrento

Mehdi Taheri Certainly a highlight and a must-see in Sorrento, on par with its beaches and cafes. The museum offers a concise yet insightful history of the area, with facilities and resources available for further research. The staff are passionate about Sorrento’s heritage—friendly, knowledgeable, and with a good sense of humour. While you’re there, don’t miss Watts’ Cottage, an original 1800s building that was relocated to this site for preservation.

Eagles Nest - Portsea

leonardo claver My classmates and I visited Eagles Nest Lookout in Melbourne, and it was an unforgettable experience. The sweeping ocean views were breathtaking, and the cliffs made for a perfect photo backdrop. It was a fun and relaxing spot, ideal for enjoying nature on a holiday.

Diamond Bay - Sorrento

Karen Very pretty surroundings, not many people. Water is cold and the current can be strong at times. During high tide you just sit on the rocks :)

Fort Nepean - Portsea

Chris Bray Worth a journey down here just for the sheer history. This fort was responsible for the first commonwealth shots fired in both the first and second world war. The fort has lots to explore and the walk down to it is a reasonably easy going walk too. You can hire bikes and cycle down and there is a bus service, but no cars are allowed which is good. Although the fort itself is the main attraction there are many other little installations to explore at the same time, which probably would be viewed overall as part of the main fort. Sadly when we went it was impossible to progress further from the fort towards the actual point, but still the views are spectacular. Some great wildlife to see along the road too.
