Point Ormond Lookout - Elwood

Shawn Zhang A wonderful spot to watch the sunset, Melbourne skyline, and people, lots of people. Very busy over the long weekend, and probably most weekends too. Parking right at the lookout can be tricky to find, but if you are happy to walk 10 minutes, then you should be fine. Still worth the trip as the view is beautiful!

The fountain is set on a basalt podium with a combination of grey and pink granite. The fountain set within four granite columns that support a freely designed classical canopy and the fountain itself made out of brass. The memorial is surrounded by a fence of wrought iron posts with chains strung between them. The memorial fountain is listed in the Victorian Heritage Register.
