My anxiety fixation is nail picking & biting - I was so scared my first appointment with Nicole because my nails were practically stubs, but I didn’t need to worry because it was the most amazing appointment, no judgement or criticism about my nails, she listened to everything I said and I left feeling great for the first time in so long. Fast forward over a year my nails are long, healthy and always look so good! If you want amazing nails Nicole is your girl, but if you also want a safe place, great conversation & amazing nails look no further than Babehouse!

She is so knowledgeable and has taught me so much about nail health and how best to maintain my nails in between appointments. She’s never met a nail art design that she couldn’t do for me, and I travel over an hour to see her because she truly is one of the best nail techs you’ll find in Melbourne! Plus, a massive bonus is that her new matcha store is 10/10 amazing!

I’m naturally a bit quiet at first, but Nicole made me feel comfortable right from the beginning – now I don’t stop chatting the whole time I’m there haha! Her work is always flawless and I’ve never left unhappy. She checks in with me at every step to make sure I’m happy with how things are going, and she’s always open to feedback. On the very rare occasion I’ve wanted to tweak something, it’s only ever been because I didn’t love the design I chose – definitely nothing to do with her work! Nicole’s service is worth every penny. Cleanliness and hygiene are super important to me, and I really appreciate the time and care she puts into making sure everything is up to standard. You can tell she takes real pride in her work and it shows in every set she does. Couldn’t recommend her more – shes a gem!

3 /5 Shane Healey: My daughter was excited to get her nails done for the holidays, and some friends recommended this place. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t meet expectations, and we likely won’t be returning. 1. The nail technician seemed a bit standoffish, which was disappointing. My daughter tried to start a conversation at the beginning of the appointment, but the technician wasn’t receptive. While I understand everyone can have an off day, it left a negative impression. 2. The quality of the nails was mixed. Most of them were done well, but her pinky nail was slightly crooked, something she didn’t notice until after the appointment. Additionally, her nails started lifting within the first week, and just shy of three weeks, one of them broke off entirely. I want to clarify that my daughter didn’t ask me to write this review—I’m simply sharing our experience to help other parents know what to expect. At $160, we were hoping for a more welcoming experience and better quality results.
