5 /5 Joey Di Pietro: Great to walk past and see along the beautiful walk.
5 /5 J TL: A great park along the winding Yarra river. Great for relaxing. I like to do the hike trails there or sit and read a book on the grass or on the park benches. Makes Great picnic area. Nice landscape full of slopes, bushes with lots of native wildlife, trees, shrubs and bushes. Lots of parking available and great bike trails for cyclists.
5 /5 Andi C.: I visit this park almost every day with my dog. It’s a lovely bit of Melbourne. There is open grassy area and a riverside trail for walkers (no cycling though… but there is a shared path as well so not to worry!) and play equipment for the kids.
5 /5 Martin Hand: This little spot is great. Theres loads of birds and a few different trails to take along the Yarra. You can also access the Boulevard from here. There always seems to be a lot of birds in this area including lorikeets and ringnecks. I like to stroll along the river and decompress after work in this park. Theres a kids play area and its a dog friendly park too.
3 /5 Jamie Stirk: I personally love this spot to take my dog but I have no idea why the council after all these years still have not installed a tap or proper bins..
Great spot but the council once again lets us down... Also this means the dogs tend to go down to the river to drink where there are a LOT of tiger snakes in snake season..
Em Visited in early October this year and it was beautiful! Everything was in bloom, so it made for a really pretty sight. I think this is a must-see if youre travelling to Melbourne. The photos dont do this place justice. It is tranquil, elegant and pretty. No tickets needed, just go in and enjoy the scenery.
Paul Richards A nice park with a brilliantly designed playground for kids, including a big slide and lots of sand. Beware of dogs though - some people let their dogs loose inside the playground, despite the signs. Its very well connected to the Merri Creek Trail. The car park usually has lots of space, at least on weekdays, and its also easily walkable from Clifton Hill station.
Kate Melbourne Guided Night Time Food Walking Tour
Top tip - book this tour for the first day of your stay in Melbourne so you have plenty of time to revisit on the amazing places to eat and drink!
The night I booked, I was the only person - Hugo kindly offered me the following day with a group, a refund or a unique private tour. Due to schedule, I was unable to rebook so went for the personal tour.
Hugo was very knowledgeable and great company for the evening. He tailored the tour so l had the best experience ever. We were welcomed at all restaurants and bars visited which enriched the evening.
At the end of the evening, Hugo marked off all the places wed visited on a map so I was able to return at my leisure.
This tour is a definite must whilst in Melbourne and my favourite one of them all. Thank you
Rhiannon Malone This place is a wonderful hands on country vibe sanctuary in the inner city area. There are so many animals roaming around for kids to observe and pat. The goats, chickens, guinea pigs, pigs and sheep were very popular with my daughter. The expansive vege garden is brilliant. I loved this place so much after my first visit that I bought an annual membership. An excellent activity for families or people trying to entertain little kids whilst also teaching them about the environment, animals and sustainability.
