Hillcrest Church

Tom&Meg Callahan This is a bible centered church filled with the spirit of the Lord. Every Sunday we worship our Lord and savior and hear from God’s word. Tom Goodman, the head Pastor, is truly a man after God’s own heart. While retaining biblical values, he still knows Gods heart and reflects that by meeting people where they are at on their walk with God, and walks along side of them. My husband and I have been coming to Hillcrest for 1 month and we have never felt more welcomed into a church.

LifeFamily Austin

Nicole Little Truly a welcoming environment. This has been my church home for several years and made me feel apart if something greater from the start. Pastor Phillips is extraordinary in the way he delivers the word each Sunday. Even if this does not become your church just come experience Gods love in this place once.

The Austin Stone Church

Jordan P First time coming, great bible-based sermon, full of truth, amazing worship team. Seems good for all sorts of ages, great sized college ministry. Provides earplugs for worship music as well if it’s too loud for your taste (super smart).

One Chapel Austin

V Rosalinda (Nena) I LOVE JESUS and One Chapel has been my church for a bit over two years now. I find myself so connected with my Lord when we are in praise and worship. One Chapel welcomes people and helps them get connected with groups and other events that happen there. This church does not push religion on anyone. Come visit and find out for yourself. God loves you and we do too at One Chapel!

The ROCK ATX

Rachel D This church has given me a brand new life- literally. I have never experienced love, community, knowledge, and growth like I have in my 2 years being here. Looking at other reviews, it sucks that one experience with an over protective member has turned people away, because that doesnt reflect the spirit of the body. If you are curious about God, Jesus, Christianity at all (I came in an atheist), I highly recommend just stopping in and really listening. Your life will never be the same.

Sunrise Community Church

Lauren Moreno This place helped me get on my feet again it would be sad if it shut down. I’ve had my mail sent here for awhile and they kept me fed until I was able to get housing which they found for me. They got me on food stamps/Medicaid/housing. Very good resource. Sucks that people hate poor people when none of them have any better solutions. Better than most churches that sit on their asses ignoring what the Bible says about helping the unfortunate people. Selfish haters need to shut up unless they got a solution that helps the folks in line

South Austin Church

Carly Vondra From the first time I walked through the doors the entire congregation has welcomed and loved me! I rely on Celebrate Recovery on Thursday nights for my recovery and fellowship there as well. The Pastors and secretary are all about helping the needs of those less fortunate in our community and that I help personally through my employment. I love this place!

Antioch Austin Church

Jason Birdwell Great church that is relatable and effective. I (from Red River Church) have been partnering with them and Hope Chapel to raise up young musicians for a few years now, and it has been both fun and powerful. Thank God for Hope in the City!
