St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church - Alice (TX)

5 /5 Ted Marquis: I went to school here in the sixties and I can’t say enough good things about the teachers. 5th and 6th grade teachers were not nuns and they were excellent teachers. My 7th grade teacher was a nun and the principal. I didn’t enjoy that year. I suspect she didn’t like kids. That would not have been entirely her fault. A fine priest with a fine church. Fine Catholic values taught in this church at that time. I don’t know how it is now or if the school is still open but I have fond memories of this establishment from that era.

5 /5 R A (Na): After attending mass with my great granddaughter, I found the services are more in keeping with what I remember as a child. I am interested in seeing what direction the new pastor implements.

5 /5 T SOLIZ: Im giving it a five because it looks like a nice church, I also was able to get some holy water. That really made my granddaughter happy and myself. The church was locked so we didnt get to go in to life some candles.

5 /5 Gabriel Ramos Sr.: A must stop if staying in Alice and want to attend church services. Crying room is available. Friendly faces and relatable sermons. Beautiful stained windows.
