Susan Leva I have very sad news to report, I found out today that Pelone the owner of this shop has passed away. He was a great mechanic and a good friend who knew how to help without asking. He jumped started my car when I was stranded in town and didnt want any payment. He just came. Not too many people like that. He will be sorely missed.

Hammer Scott Okay Everyone, This is going to be my pleasure to review a Houston Legend. I had a 1957 Chevy step side truck in 1986-1989. I was blowing thru Transmissions like Condoms until a friend of mine sold me his Dads rebuilt McNeal transmission for $400.00. Fast forward to 2024 and my girlfriend and I are Wintering in Rockport,TX and her transmission goes out and Guess who lives in Rockport TX Now. Jeff MFing McNeal Jr. The son of the Famous Jeff McNeal. I am going to have the privilege of putting a Rebuilt McNeal in our 1996 GMC Sierra SLE 4x4 Tow vehicle. My girl is freaking out and I am like "How much does he want? You dont understand who Jeff McNeal is Jersey Girl." I got this! Whoa hoo! I cant wait to get her truck back and feel the NEW Rebuilt from The Legend. Do your Thang! UPDATE! Got the Truck back in time to drive back to Lipscomb TX. Transmission worked without a hitch! Thanks again to Jeff and his amazing Staff, especially his wonderful wife and life partner.

Thomas Kelly My boat generator left me hangin bad. Matt came out and looked at it. Gave me the honest scoop and we got parts and fixed it. He really helped us out, had great customer service and I will always use Bay Area going forward!

Ty Navarrette I was amazed at the level of service Gordo’s provided. I was stranded and they went way above and beyond to help me get back on the road. Honest, friendly and genuine. Communication was everything I want from people that work with me. I’m proud that Blue Compass RV sent me to them when I was panicking. I would recommend them to everyone!

Chuck Balyeat This is the guy that can find that one rotten pair in a bulkhead connector buried deep in a harness under your car that two dealers gave up on . He done did me right. Sad to say , but a piece of metal under an eighth by an inch long can incapacitate your car and result in 100s of dollars in shop and tow fees , if you pick the wrong shops (plural) . If I could only convince him to charge twice as much, it would still be a good value.

Renee Royal I came in close to closing time due to my long work hours. The gentleman who always greets me is friendly, polite, and professional. He was working alone (with no other staff) and managed to take care of my oil change without a complaint. I appreciate having a service center to go to, where I don’t have to worry about how I will be treated and I know my vehicle is taken care of.

ggff bvy Helped us out greatly. Replaced our radiator on quick notice. Job well done. No trouble at all traveling 200 miles back home.
