1 /5 J R: Do not stand behind their work and dont take responsibility for damage they cause. When I first looked at the repair they had made it looked good but later on the same day the sunlight was directly hitting the repaired area and you could tell the paint did not match. The paint was a factory color so it should have been easy to match the existing paint unless you haven someone inexperienced painting the car. They didnt use the correct pressure which is critical to matching metallic or pearl paint and that is either sloppy work or someone doesnt know how to paint correctly. Then they damaged my driver side mirror they had to remove to repair the work. They said nothing about it when they did their qc inspection but as soon as I left the shop I noticed the mirror noticeably shaking so I went right right back to the shop and informed them of the issue. They took a look at it, agreed that it shouldnt shake like that then proceeded to tell me it was like that already they had no clue how that happened. A reputable shop would have taken responsibility but they just decided it was a better decision to blame the customer and absolve themselves of any responsibility. The body shop used to be Barreras Body Shop when it was run by the man who opened the shop originally now run by the grandson and the shops integrity went out the window when the new management stepped in. Its a shame because my family has known their family for over 50 years and when Martin was running the shop they would have stood behind their work. Not anymore. Horrible work and in a small town word gets around and I wont be recommending anyone to take their vehicle there. Terrible work terrible customer service

I brought them a grille I bought for my truck that needed paint matched so I could re-align my bumper. Pricing was awesome and the work was top notch!

Best of all, his grandfather was in the shop working. I love family owned business and people who love to work. Rockport Paint & Body is a place you can trust and keep coming back to, especially if you have teenagers because thats how we got to know them.

3 /5 James Savage: Had panel replaced on my 2024 GMC Cannon. The paint job was outstanding. However had a small issue with the panel not being flush. Went back and talked with Nancy and she scheduled me to came back and they would adjust. Went back as scheduled and met with her son who was managing the shop to have the adjustment made as scheduled with Nancy. He looked at the panel which at that time was somewhat flush after I had pushed it in before arriving at the shop. He said it was flush and did not need any work. I explained that I pushed it in and after some driving vibration it would stick out again. He said there was nothing to fix and was not going to do any work on it. I asked him weather he was going to fix it or not? He did not answer, but became belligerent and started yelling and moving into my space with threats if I did not get off the property he was going to call the police and have me trespassed and not to come back on the property. I asked if I could wait for his mother Nancy to come in and he said no he was in charge and I had to leave which I did without having the adjustment completed Consumer beware their original work is outstanding but hopefully you don’t have an issue after the fact. .
