1 /5 Jeanie Davis: Recently moved to San Antonio. We have had a concierge doctor for the past 9 years so we immediately looked for a new one here in SA. We found Pasteur and based on reviews we hired one of their physicians to be our concierge doctor. We have had multiple concierge doctors in multiple cities. They have all worked the same. Pay a flat fee. Everything is included, unless they send you outside the practice. That is what they advertise, but NOT what you get. I was concerned when at the first visit they asked for our insurance information. I only gave it to them when they assured me that they use it to set us up with outside testing or physicians should we ne referred. In my prior experiences, you can always get prompt responses and speak to the doctor when you need. This is not the case. You get a number that you can text the doctors assistant. Prompt response never happened. I only saw my doctor once and never even spoke to him again. But it is the billing that has really solidified the 1 star (I would prefer 0 star) rating. Within a couple months, I started receiving bills from the practice. I had to call to fight with them every time. They said that they still bill insurance and we dont owe the difference. By the end of the the year term, I was receiving bills for both myself and my husband every month and ignoring them. I contacted the office and told them we would absolutely not be renewing with them. However, the bills kept coming. Then, I realized that my husband had paid the bills thinking that they were due. I called and they said we are not owed a refund. Now, July 2024, I just received a bill from last October when my husband saw the physician. This practice is a scam. They operate a non- concierge practice in the same location and you will never receive actual "concierge" services. Save your $.
