Sheila Kerls I feel I should disclose that Ive gone to Second Baptist for quite a while. People are friendly and glad to see new faces. Good teaching, both from the pulpit and in classes. Nursery, Sunday School for all ages, worship service for all ages (and nursery is available then). I would encourage you to visit. Posting this in December. So music and other Christmas celebration going on now. NOW adding in July. I moved to my daughter’s home (in another town), when my husband passed away. My daughter got pretty sick and I called the Second Baptist office to see if they would pray for her (yes, I did pray, too.)The staff remembered me, asked for the details, and said they would. I feel strongly that was a big factor in her getting well quickly. I hope to go back to Second Baptist, Corpus, even if for a short visit. (But hoping for longer.). Sheila again, couldn’t connect directly, so thought I would add on here..no real changes, but things still okay. Still waiting for Mike.. more later. DISC Trainer Lord of the Harvest Church is place where there is a genuine move of the Spirit of God. I do not live in the South Texas region but I visit often and I make it a priority to be in church at Lord of the Harvest. The pastors and the people authentically love and serve the community. I highly encourage anyone who is looking for a safe place for their family to grow in the things of God to go to Lord of the Harvest.

Reichert Candace (#dieselgirltx) From the very first time we walked through the front doors of Yorktown Baptist Church, we were greeted and welcomed with loving arms. As you can imagine, trying to find a church home can be intimidating, especially when you don’t know any one. That was never the case here. The entire staff and members are truly dedicated and devoted to making you feel like part of the Yorktown family. 4 years later and we could not be any happier. They have helped our family grow tremendously in our faith by supporting our family through ups and downs, and never straying from the word of God and his promises. Their passion to share the good news of the gospel has inspired our family everyday and helped our family build a solid foundation in Christ in all we do. There are no words that could ever express my love and gratefulness for the Yorktown family and I would highly recommend anyone wanting a church home to visit and experience the same. God bless!

Hazel Barmore Pastor Jess Cole is GODS man. Had my husbands service there last week. It was the BEST service I have ever been to. Sweet, caring, full of GOD, personal and peaceful. Jess I love you and Jackie. Thank you for giving me the BLESSINGS for a lifetime.

Nikky Schroth My husband and I had a hard time finding a church that we both love. One that unashamedly and boldly teaches truth and is filled with the Holy Spirit. The Net truly understands that God inhabits the praises of his people. Worship is always my favorite but in some places, it feels dead not at The Net. They welcomed us with open arms from day one, when we aren’t in church they check on us, they’re involved in the local community and have many options for fellowship. The Bible says, “you shall know them by their fruits”, The Net displays peace, love joy and kindness while teaching the word of God.

Jesse Randall I love this church, and I’m so happy my wife and I found it when we moved to corpus. Have been coming here for over a year now, and have made some of our closest friends at this church. Pastor Rods teachings are incredible, and he really dives into The Word, and tells you what you need to hear not just what you want to hear. The young adults group here is awesome as well. Couldn’t be happier with this church.

Leona T Great place for pickleball; spacious rec center - 3 courts with portable nets and permanent lines, carpet on walls for noise. Some 2.5-3.0s, mostly 3.5-4.0 players and at times 4.5’s when the weather is bad. Most follow rec’s rules and play 1 set to 11. Last Monday, there was 20 players (max number to sign up is 25) but can get crowded with people just showing up. Overall friendly people and competitive rec play.
