1 /5 bridget macias: Very bubbly nails. I understand they are short and that is why the guy who did them said they are fat but let me tell you that I normally get my nails done this short and they are never fat! I asked for square with sharp edges and I got round! I used to live in corpus and would always go to golden nails so I looked forward to them and I am disappointed. 3 days later by the way and they are chipping and lifting. The guy who did them must be new or something because the prep was awful and he just drilled away my cuticles and didnt even ask me to rinse my hand with water before the clear coat. That or the products are cheap… Before these awful nails I had a full set on that I had for about a month with no chipping, no lifting and all in perfect condition and still shiny but I got them done in Austin Texas (where I will continue to get them done). The only thing was they were grown and ready for a new set. I will not be going to golden nails again.

1 /5 Tanya Valdez: I was excited to get my nails done and asked for a very simple look. I wanted a more natural square look and emphasized that request. I also asked for a simple cat eye gel design. The guy doing my nails was very rough, didn’t say a word to me the entire time, and didn’t know how to use cat eye gel. I kept asking him to go shorter, and he said the design won’t work on short nails (which is not true). He didn’t even put cuticle oil on me, which I thought was the norm. They came out too long, very thick, and much wider than my fingers or what I asked. I kept hiding my hands because they looked bad. I still gave a tip, because that’s what I do, but decided that was the first and last time I was going there. This picture is about 7 days after getting them done. I kept filing down the edges that would scratch me.

1 /5 Bavaria Heckenbach: Honestly if I could leave 0 stars I would. I came in to get a soak off and a polish change on my toes and left only getting the soak off and very dissatisfied. I came for the first time because they got recommended to me and I liked the shape of my friend’s nails and will 1000% will never be coming back or recommending this place to anyone. The nail tech I believe Long was his name was trying to pop off my nails using acrylic tips and even after I expressed to him that it was painful because I felt him ripping my nail! He finally did a normal soak off after the third nail where I continued telling him it was painful and giggled while saying sorry when I dont think ripping my nail bed to the point where I’m bleeding is a laughing matter. Still made me pay for the take off and didn’t apologize once or offer any type of compensation just told me it was because my nails were too thin but then later said its because they were already ripped??? But when he soaked off the rest of them none of them were ripped nor do they feel too thin. I was trying to upload a picture but it is not letting me

2 /5 Diane Cavazos: This is not my usual place but they were recommended by a coworker. I started wearing acrylic overlays over my natural nails back about 3 months ago. The lady who started my nails said the next time I would need them replaced and I said ok. Some other finished me because her appointment showed up, which was no problem. I left happy. They were thin and they looked beautiful. After a few days, I saw some spots in my fingernails. They didn’t hurt, so I thought they were ink stains showing through my polish except they wouldn’t wash out. Didn’t think anything of it. Went back to my usual place, because of convenience and he said the stains were from water seeping through the acrylic, probably because they were so thin. Golden Nails should have told me I needed replacements at that time or shouldn’t have made them so thin. Now I know better and hopefully anyone reading this now knows what I learned. Replace often and don’t make them so thin.
