1 /5 Alex: I walked in, knowing which lifter needed to be replaced. I asked how much it would cost or if there would be a charge to check the noise and confirm it was a lifter. The guy first said $160 for "diagnosis," and then I asked again while walking out, and he said $120. He was very rude, changing prices and not good with customers at all. He said he couldn’t give me an estimate or even a range. For example, $200-$500 would have been helpful so I could know if I could replace it today. For one lifter, he just said they could look at it and got annoyed when I asked questions about plans or if he could give a rough estimate.
