2 /5 Karen Gilbert: The clinic is good. Their lack of communication needs work. Dr. Lowery was coming down to Nacogdoches once a month, then they had Dr. Boylan coming down here. I didnt have a problem with either doctor. But when I called to see when Dr. Boylan would be down here next to make an appointment for knee surgery clearance, I was then told that he would NOT be coming back to Nacogdoches and they most likely would not have another doctor come this way and it would be best to find another doctor. Really? Being a new patient to a new doctor is not going to get me my clearance. It would have been nice to have some sort of communication about that. I didnt get a thing...no call, email snail mail, nothing. If I hadnt called to try to get an appointment, I would have been SOL come June when I was supposed to see him again. Now luckily, my old cardiologist before I went to this clinic will see me and give me the clearance I need. Also the Christus clinic told me if I wanted to continue, Id have to go to the clinic in Longview. When you have to depend on someone else or the Medicare transportation to get to the appointment, going that far is not convenient.

1 /5 R Piner: Took wife here for high blood pressure & rapid heart rate after multiple trips to mother Francis ER & multiple EKGs costing $1,000s. It took almost a year to get in. Appointment time was at 2:30 & told to be there 20 mins early to fill out paper work which they lost and had to fill out twice. It took over 21/2 hrs to be seen by Dr and spent over 3 hrs at clinic. Staff is rude and act like they dont want to be there. Dr was dry and dismissive and still have little answers to whats going on. More tests scheduled which will be months before those appointments. At this point money is running dry and going to owe $1,000s more and probably still wont have any answers or relief. Whats happening to our health care in this country? They could care less about our health and only about nickel and dimming us until death. Its all about profits!!

1 /5 Tim Pennington: My wife had a appointment, ran tests, found abnormal readings, did nothing, zero recommendations. My wife planned on paying the copay at next follow up, but this place is more concerned about money vs patient care. So at 30 days, they sent her copay bill to debt collector service. So due to that unprofessional act, we won’t be using that clinic for any cardiac needs. See below to the response of clinic. They obviously missed the part of the lack of treatment and went straight to the money issue. This proves my point I was making in original comment.

1 /5 Don Elbert: I called a week and a half ago trying to get an appointment for a serious heart rhythm disturbance I am experiencing. Yet to hear back from anyone. Called Cardiovascular Consultants, they called me back the next morning and quickly scheduled an appointment. I have tremendous respect for the doctors at CardiaStream but the office staff is lacking. I hope that the MDs read this.
