Anthony Spears I first came to this church in the 90’s. I have grown and matured immeasurably through my experience. I am a proud black gay man but I know that being a child of God is what matters most. This church has taught me to see the Divine Spirit in others, even those who may be difficult to love. My relationship with God is stronger. My self-awareness has deepened. I pray this church will be around for future generations.

I trust the reader will avail themselves to attending while in the area!

Pablo Navarrete This is an orthodox Anglican congregation. 1928 Book of Common Prayer. Solid biblical teaching, preaching, and practice.
A small homey place, welcoming people, really nice acoustics, small pipe organ that really fills the place with sound.
I see all races, ages, I would be guessing at income levels. Some of the congregation is local, others travel from Houston or the surrounding area.
The are a mission church of the Reformed Episcopal Church, but the "Reformed" has nothing to do with the recent liberalization of the Episcopal Church. They split off in the mid 1800s. Google it if you want to learn more.

My husband and I feel so blessed to have found this amazing group of people to study God’s word, be of service to our community as well as the amazing friends we have found. If you are looking for a new church home, I highly recommend Fishers of Men!!!

Jerrold Lohr We have been attending Fishers Of Men for about 12 years now. This is a church that is very sound in Biblical teaching and doctrine. There are many opportunities at Fishers to get to know the other members in a variety of settings: Sunday worship services, Bible studies, many social activities, and also very important—opportunities to serve God and others abound. We feel welcomed and loved at this wonderful church.

I know that this service was perfectly planned just for me. :-) The Holy Spirit used this excellent young Pastor (Cory) to preach directly from Gods Word into my heart. I felt very welcomed and comfortable there. Expect to hear about the love of Jesus and Gods plan for His people to seek holiness. Holy Spirit is moving in this church.

Sachin David When I moved to Austin, TX from Georgia, the first thing my roommate and I wanted to take care of was finding a church that’s unashamed to preach the Gospel in its entirety, only moving on the call and under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, engaged in Holy Spirit worship, and rooted in prayer.
And that’s how I would describe Capital City Church! Pastors Blaise and Brandon are humble leaders with a thirst and fire for Jesus Christ!
Both Pastors are actively involved all facets of the church, and the weekly prayer nights are my favorite to recharge from a busy week.
The church has grown significantly ever since I joined and is just further proof of the work the Lord is doing in Capital City Church.
I unfortunately had to re-locate for work to Dallas, TX but I will always call Capital City Church my home, forever and always!

Kristin Seelman The vision of midtown is what makes it different from any other church I have been a part of: to partner with God to see the day when every man, woman and child hears the gospel from a person who loves them. Its important to me to be a member of a church that emphasizes loving others and building relationships while figuring out what God is all about. While sometimes I fail at this, I am surrounded by people encouraging me to continue to pour into others as we build our faith together. Its pretty cool.

Gregory Poe Ive been going Midtown for 7 years and really really love it. They preach the Bible, and members are very devout in their faith. The worship is contemporary (and super good). The congregation is diverse, with probably a little less than half being college students. If you want to grow in your faith, I highly recommend coming to midtown. I wouldnt be the man I am today without my midtown community. On another note, I met my wife here. So yeah. Its worth a visit.

From the minute you pull in the parking lot you can see the level of commitment by the number of people having placed signs directing the community to service, setting up inside, greeters, etc. I felt welcome from the moment I stepped through the door! The sermon and the worship were fantastic! Its a large space, but they do a wonderful job making it feel more intimate.
