1 /5 Howards House: Nov 23- I’ve used this food bank before so I am also taking that into consideration. The intake specialist Trisha is so rude. It’s not what she says but her body language and tone of voice made me never want to use this place again. At least the other two ladies smiled and had a positive demeanor. I hope Trisha get retired behind a desk or somewhere she can’t work with clients. Here is it two months later and we are in January. I have now had two separate run ins with Trisha and I have asked for a supervisor. She is her own supervisor and she has informed me she is her own boss. She doesn’t answer to anyone and can do and say what she wants to clients such as myself. She confronted me about the bad review I gave her in November and now she comes out of the back looking for me bc the desk clerk skipped me and I was upset. I have a job. There was no room in the lobby or parking lot. I hate coming here.

2 /5 Ellie Lewis: Yes they are nice but this past week my daughter has gone 3 times. 1 closed, 2 appointments only, 3 today they said come back Monday. She literally has no food and was sent away 3 times. Not everyone can drop by to fill out an "application" and then make a second trip when they work. Sometimes people show up because they are desperate right now. Not on Monday, now. Sad and pathetic. I added it up and she spent 26.00 in gas to go there only to be told to come back another day. 26.00 that could have bought a meal at heb for her kids. Thank God regular people from bastrop jumped in to help her so those babies wont go hungry tonight.
