Teny Chen My friend and I got our nails done for her Belize Birthday trip. Tai did my beautiful elegant mermaid nails. Ann did my friends pretty blue tequila nail. They are both so talented, the nail art is immaculate. We also got a nice relaxing pedicure. Our nails held up after 7 days of hiking, cave climbing, horseback riding, swimming, snorkeling, and pole. Not a single jewel fell off, no chips. When I get sad that our trip is over, I just look down at my nails and it brings me joy. 10/10 recommend!!

Libby Jones I have been getting my nails done here for over a year and I keep coming back for a reason! The attention to detail is always wonderful. Ahn does amazing nail art every time! Their 7 day repair policy is also something that you don’t normally see.
No need to look further than nail boss for an amazing mani or pedi!

JD Today I visited Nail Boss for the first time and will not be returning again, not only because of the poor quality of work and customer service, but for some reason one of the staff misgendered me by calling me “sir” repeatedly even though I was born a female, have long hair, and a feminine voice.
I’ll start first with talking about the service. Lana was the manicurist who did my nails. I asked for coffin shaped nails painted with green cat eye polish. Throughout the service, Lana failed to do my nails exactly how I wanted them and constantly made excuses when I told her. For example, she cut my nail tips shorter on my right hand than my left hand. I asked her if she could extend the length of the nails on my right hand so that it could match my left hand, but she refused and said she would have to make the nails shorter on the left hand in order to have them match. Lana should have made sure that each hand had the same length of nails prior to applying acrylic powder to them. Every nail tech I have been to prior to her always compares each finger prior to applying powder, so I’m not sure why she skipped this step. It wasn’t until her boss came to our table and saw that I was visibly displeased by Lana’s service that Lana finally extended the length of the nails that she made too short. The final product of the nails was absolutely disappointing. I paid $90 just to get a sloppy job which took over 2 hours to complete. You would think with that amount of time, the nails would look better. As you can see in my pictures, the shape is not the same on each nail and barely looks like coffin nails. Lana failed to apply acrylic powder close to the bottom of the nail bed, so my nails already appear as if they are one week old. This is the most horrendous looking full set of nails I have ever received at a nail salon and I was forced to pay $90 for the service. It looks like a third grader did my nails and I am extremely upset that I paid nearly a hundred dollars for such poor quality of nails. Not a single discount or refund was offered, even though I expressed that I did not like my nails and even they know that it looks sloppy. Now I have to wait two weeks with ugly nails in my hands before visiting a salon that actually knows how to do nails.
On top of that, one of the other workers on the salon addressed me as “sir” repeatedly when I was trying to look for the sink to wash the acrylic powder off my hands. She kept saying, “Sir! Sir! Sir! The sinks right here!” Unbelievable. Misgendering a woman who was born a female, has long hair, and female body parts is absolutely uncalled for. I wouldn’t be surprised if she did it on purpose just because I was visibly disappointed in the service. I will never return to Nail Boss ever again and will advise others on my personal life to avoid this salon like the plague.
