When I told the stylist I didnt like the color and that I received highlights she said " its the lighting " that makes it look too light. Definitely wont be returning.

Brandi Swann I went to get a peek a boo color right before Christmas. The top color was beautiful, but the blue I got under was gone in a week. I followed the stylists recommendations and used the colorwash shampoo she said, but it still faded. She lead me to believe it would last up to 2 months. When I reached out to her about it, she suggested using the same colorwash shampoo and then ghosted me when I tried to follow up. I know these colors fade a lot more compared to darker shades, but when you pay $200 for a color, it needs to last more than a week. Will not be returning. Edit: owner reached out and apologized and refunded me. Very nice of them and I appreciate their quick response and courtesy.

Staff is friendly and receptive of how you want your hair cut, rather than how they want to cut your hair. They also gave me suggestions on how to get the style I want. Nakita Polk If I could give zero stars I would ! Our family moved here from Niagara Falls a year ago, my son has been going here for a year . Im back and forth for my professional Wax & Beauty Bar in Ny. Every time he has gotten he hair twisted here I have told him it has looked horrible but he 16 and kept booking here. Today he went and again his hair looks horrible ! And not only that the unprofessional stylist texted my son stating the 50 dollar was counterfeit, so he called her and I got on the phone with her and instantly she starts to say she going to make a police report. How unprofessional........ I wouldnt dare contact my client(s)with that rude ghetto behavior. I told her "well thats not a need " its 50 dollars..... Ill send it to you. If its counterfeit then he was given counterfeit. Why not ask first and see how we can resolve this? This is a greedy business that does sloppy work with an unprofessional stylist! I wouldnt dare let my client leave looking like this. If I would have goggled her salon before allowing my son to find one on his own this would have never been a choice. Even the photos of the salon looks unsanitary and sloppy, for my standards. I will be investigating to make sure the stylist is even licensed, which I doubt because this is unprofessional work and behavior. Melanie Hendrick I went not too long ago with the hopes of finally finding a good hair stylist since my old stylist moved. I had my appointment with Abby I am still so upset about my hair and how it turned out. I have been getting my hair done for years and this was the first time it turned out this bad. It really wasn’t even that the color was off due to me going lighter it was my hair ended up being fried! I have so much breakage and small pieces now from being way too over processed. I also sat at the salon for 10 hours that day which is the longest I have ever been at any salon. My stylist was once again 30 minutes late. My appointment was at 8:30 and she showed at 9 and this wasn’t the first time. She cut my daughter’s hair a few months before that and was also 30 minutes late to her appointment. I had let the stylist know up front what I wanted but I told her I just don’t want it fried and that’s exactly what happened. I also asked for just a trim and I got way more cut off! I am devastated because it took me so long to grow it out. I didn’t say anything when I left because at that point I was so upset and exhausted I didn’t even know what to say. I was also charged almost 400 dollars for my hair to look and feel awful. I will never go back and never refer anyone to that stylist. I am sure there are good stylists there but definitely not her.

Mega Mreeves I really want Black salon culture to change. It’s disheartening what women encounter and spend their coin on to only be met with indifference and toxicity. No one greets you when you walk in. You hold conversations and you’re practically conversing with yourself. Like why is it this way? I was unable to finish the service because I did not like the way she spoke to me. Customer service is critical and Vanessa really dropped the bar. Do better for the sake of your customers.

Alexis Miranda ORourke I went to Envy Salon to get a haircut with bangs added and color. Sat down, told the lady what I wanted, showed her references and she started the dying process. The colors came out okay, a little different than we had discussed, and I also got one strip bleached in the front. When she got done washing my hair the blonde strip was pink from the color bleeding into it. She tells me I can buy purple shampoo to fix it. I sit back down in the chair and she starts trimming. She tries to get me to not cut bangs, telling me she thinks it would be better without it. One of the main reasons I went somewhere to get my hair done was for the bangs. I tell her that, and she grabs the front of my hair and cuts the hair off! No measuring no parting. My bangs are cut into a SQUARE instead of a triangle, and parted because no hair was sectioned. So I spent $200 for me to have to pull my bangs back because they don’t sit right. I won’t be returning back here
