Karen Carifee I’ve been going to Eileen for the past three years, and she is absolutely amazing! She has a true talent for knowing exactly what works best for my hair, whether it’s a fresh cut, color, or styling. Not only is she incredibly skilled, but she also takes the time to listen and make sure I leave feeling confident and beautiful every time. Her attention to detail and passion for her craft truly set her apart. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair! Highly recommend Eileen to anyone looking for a top-notch stylist!

Erika Ewer I found Hair By Eileen on Yelp when I moved to TX! I did a search for a stylist who works with short/pixie styles and she came up as #1. After completing her intake form (smart and detailed questions about my habits and likes) I was thrilled to get a response and have had 3 cuts with her thus far! Her space is cute and super easy to get to (if not a tad dangerous being so close to all the shops at Creekside), parking is a piece of cake. I cant speak to color, but she has done edgy and creative styles for me and I am as happy as can be to have found her!!!

Barbara Pena Eileen created a treatment plan for my natural platinum hair, which included a much needed haircut, shampoo and a keratin treatment. After all was done, and with the blow drying and styling, my hair feels and looks amazing. Highly recommend her services!

Mariana Reed First time in this salon and the truth is I was a little nervous but she made me feel very comfortable, Heather Hudson was my stylist, she’s awesome, she did a beautiful job on my hair, I have no complaints at all, I loved the color, haircut and how she styled it when I finished. Lucian Whitman She does the best job of cutting my kids hair. She is usually available for walk-ins which is awesome but sometimes she closes early and I can’t get the kids in. Today was a good day. I called ahead and she confirmed she would be there till six. Happy heads. Happy kids. Happy dad!

Joan Paula Meeske BEST haircut ever!!! My hair is springy curly, which intimidates a lot of hairdressers. The owner/ cutter knew just how to approach it, happily followed a few instructions about my bangs, and voila! I walked out in 30 min., smiling instead of in tears. I got a hundred dollar haircut for $16. I wish she lived in my town!

Justin Flores This is one if not the best men salons in New Braunfels! I love the atmosphere and the employees. Service is always great and my haircuts are worth the price! I always choose Megan (who is amazing) but all are great! So have a complimentary drink while you wait, and get a great cut at the Proper Salon for Men!

Shawn Williams I have been going to Megan for years, and she is always fast, efficient, and friendly. She knows exactly how I want it cut and I always leave refreshed and feeling brand new.

Daniel M I took my teenage son for a haircut. He had medium length hair 5-6 inches. He wanted a trim and also showed a picture of the style he wanted. The stylist cut his hair down to about 2 inches and much shorter on the sides. My son isnt happy with the haircut. I guess you dont get what you pay for.

Markus Sieg I always get a great haircut and beard trim. Staff is always friendly and really pays attention to detail. Definitely worth the money. I have tried many other places and cannot get the consistency I get from Proper.

Lily Gómez So I called the salon to ask about the price for the bridal service that was makeup and hair style. They told me that the price for both jobs was $140. The price was good for me. I liked the job that they did.The reason that I didnt leave the 5 star was that the amount that they charged me was very different from what they told me. It was almost $180 . I didnt had time to ask about the big difference in the price because i was already late for my big day.

Lacey Sanchez I received highlights in my hair to hide my gray. These ladies are very knowledgeable professional. The products they use are top-notch my hair looks amazing color highlights fabulous but most important my hair is soft, shiny these ladies do amazing work give it a try. And price very affordable very reasonable for the amount of time And styling that they do after at no extra charge!!

Barbara Tarver My first time experience at Core Beauty back in July 2024 was great! Aubree blended in a nice balayage to my existing highlights while recommending some excellent after care products, which I am still using. Although we ended up discovering a section of hair that was not toned (nape area), Aubree did not hesitate to have me come back to have it corrected, at no additional cost. My favorite part of the experience was the scalp massage during the wash…. felt super pampered! Will definitely return for future services.

Isaiah Lujan My hair stylist Alex, was very professional and very sweet. I have very curly hair, and it’s hard to find good stylist for my hair type, but with Alex I felt very comfortable and confident due to her knowledge of curls! She took great care of my hair, and did great on my classic men’s cut. I will 100% be returning as the service was spectacular and their products are top tier.

Alma Dora First time there and I felt like I knew these two for a life time! Aubree and Monica were the sweetest! Was definitely not the experience I was expected and can’t wait to go back for more fun. They made me feel like a queen an were so awesome at sharing some good tips to make my hair gorgeous !

Erica Pfannenstiel I had my hair and make-up done there for my wedding and it looked amazing.They work with your preferences, for example I never wear makeup and I let her know I didnt want anything to make me look unlike myself. She kept it minimal, but beautiful. I had an idea for my hair, but even when it wasnt done, it looked great and I had her keep it like that (with some tresses out of the bun).

Regina Whisenant Toni has been styling my hair for years now. When my hair is under her care, it’s the healthiest! I received my highlights & a trim from Toni on Tuesday & I am so happy with the outcome! I’ve been using Minoxidil for hair loss & she was able to even color my new growth! She’s simply AMAZING as a stylist!! And when I need an outfit for an event, visit with April when you shop in their boutique. She always picks out the prettiest & most flattering clothes for me! I always receive impeccable customer service at Beyond Blessed. You will not be disappointed when you visit this place of business.

Kate Butterly Chelsea was very welcoming and a true pro! We discussed the challenges I had with my current cut and color and came up with a game plan. I have thick, wavy hair-She did a wonderful job cutting and styling. I plan to go back soon for a color correction from a previous salon too. There’s tons of parking and the space is really nice-I’ve found my new salon!

Brittany Marshall My daughter and I went in together and did totally different services with Sam and Chelsea. I can’t believe they made our inspiration pictures come to life and all within the budget. My hair hasn’t been cut in literal years and was so damaged by life. My daughter wanted something she found from fictional art and I can’t believe it happened. We really enjoyed our experience and highly recommend this location.

Heather Aguirre DO NOT COME TO THIS SALON!!! I would not recommend this place at all, I went to get my hair colored a lighter color and ended up with damaged hair from the stylist leaving on the bleach for too long. I ended up going to another salon, the stylist fixed my hair and was very nice and knew exactly what needed to be done to help my damaged hair. The staff at the new salon I went to was very nice and welcoming, unlike this salon. I recommend William Edge Salon, they know what there doing and take their time helping you, there are all very nice and knowledgeable.

Judy Truesdale David is an awesome stylist. He is always very sweet and does a super job with any thing I have done to my hair. I had it colored this time and it turned out perfect as always. He really pays attention to what you want done to your hair. I have a follow up set up already.

Miles and Rachael McClellan David always does such an amazing job! I see him about every 6-8 weeks. He listens to what I want. He has never cut too much hair off. He is patient and helps me choose color even when I have a hard time expressing what I want. I feel very comfortable in his chair and in his salon.

Shelli Love this place! So convenient to hang out in Gruene after getting beautified. ☺️ Everyone there is SO good at what they do and very welcoming! Sonya took care of my highlights and cut. After 26 years of getting highlights, my hair has never looked this amazing! I can part it on both sides and brush it back into a pony tail and the highlights are perfectly even down to the root. No weird lines or bleeds. Not to mention the cut was perfect! Sonya listened to what I wanted and then executed! Y’all……you HAVE to book an appointment with her. You will be in good hands!

Nikki Henderson Best Salon in town. I like my hair cut a certain way. Long with lots of layers to add body and movement. Surprisingly it is difficult to find a stylist who can cut my hair the way I really want it. Allen does an amazing job! I will not let anyone else near my hair after having gone to him! The atmosphere is chic and relaxing. Very clean upscale boutique salon. Everyone who works there is very professional and friendly. And Allen is just absolutely amazing! He is not over priced and takes his time to give quality services to each client. He never rushes you out of the chair but makes sure each visit is catered to you and you get exactly what you want. Seriously, I will never go anywhere else!!

Stefanie Pastrano Great salon! Everyone is really friendly and professional. My stylist there is Lily and she uses ammonia free products that smells amazing. She does balayage highlights that look natural and beautiful. Highly recommend her services!

I have always been afraid to go fully blonde but Tori knew it would look amazing and she was RIGHT. Erin Hammo So I always feel like I’ve been a “high maintenance” customer to stylists because my hair is long, thick, curly, and depends on specific cuts and styling otherwise it just looks neglected. I was tired of dreading my bang trim and hair cuts because I’ve never met a stylist that just gets me and listens to what I want. Reading the reviews, I decided on F&F and was so happy they squeezed me in for an appointment with Jen. Not only was I unsure of my length but I was a bit nervous coming in because of my bad history with cuts. Jen listened to me, about my specifications with what I wanted, and DID AN AMAZING JOB. Every detail I asked for was in this cut. I got layers, face framing layers, my bangs MY way, inches off (but not too much). We only had to speak about what I wanted at the beginning and she delivered the whole way. I found people sometimes struggle with dry cuts but my hair doesn’t look good after a wash & cut. Jen did an amazing job the whole way through and answered each question with such patience. I found a great place to get my hair cut and I’m so happy with it! I can’t stop playing with it! I highly recommend F&F if you’re ever nervous or had a bad experience. They’ll take good care of you.

She was very patient and very warm throughout the whole process. She continued to ask questions to keep us involved and to ensure our cut and style was going in the right direction. She was very knowledgeable with her recommendations based on her expertise as to what would work well with our hair type and texture, which we greatly appreciated! We would 1,000% : give Blinders Salon a five Star rating as well. Its beautifully maintained and all of the staff is very, very warm and welcoming. It felt very comfortable. Mr. Blinder greeted us. He has very friendly and welcoming personality. The salon overall has a great professional yet family friendly type atmosphere. This will be the go to salon for my mom and myself.

I was scheduled at another salon for the day of my wedding and I called ahead to confirm my appointment ment as we had to drive an hour to get there. They informed me they had canceled my appointment then got snappy with me about the details. I called blinders and they made me an emergency appointment and treated me like a QUEEN! They saved the day and improved the whole mood of my wedding. My hair was beautiful and they even cleared a space for me to get ready in. After my hair was done they walked me to my ride and sent me off with all the love and kindness one could hope for. I will be returning to this salon in the future!

Tara Flaugher This is a wonderful place filled with very kind and caring people. You can tell they are passionate about their business. The owner, Larry, was super welcoming. My stylist was warm, friendly and efficient. Normally, it takes several hour for a stylist to complete highlights on my hair due length and curly texture. My full visit including the cut took a little under 2 hours! Amazing service! The music was chill and I loved all of the plants on the exterior. I just moved to New Braunfels and I’m excited to say I’ve found my salon home. :)

Kathleen Nolen I have been going to William Edge since 2011. You can consistently expect a quality service every time you walk into the salon! Always a friendly greeting and an offer of something to drink. The displays of products and gift packages are always inviting. It is a very comfortable environment. Sarah is my current stylist. She is so sweet and gentle and puts me at ease. My color and cut/style came out awesome as usual. She always asks how the color and cut are working out for me and if there are any adjustments Id like to make. She is so great to work with. There are so many talented people that work there and it is very evident that they have high standards of training and excellence in the care that they give to their clients. Easy to get to and plenty of parking!

shauna maldonado I have a long history with Williams Edge and the AWESOME people that work there. I have been to other poplar salons but they do not compare to Williams Edge. You are welcomed and treated like a close friend. I feel like I am priority when I arrive to receive their services.

Mandi Mort When I walked through the doors of Salons by JC, I was in the middle of a full on hair emergency! I was away from home and was praying for someone to fix my hot mess mop! As soon as I saw the "Walk-in s Welcome" sign, I slammed on the brakes. The receptionist was phenomenal and not once made a comment about the disaster on top of my head. She was so helpful and even called stylists to see if they could help! Sharon Hasting Molly did a great job listening to what I wanted the first time I came. Today, after confirming that I wanted NO MORE LAYERS and no more than a quarter inch off the front, she promptly announced that I needed more layers, pulled up a large section of hair, and proceeded to chop off an inch or more. The front length is supposed to be a single layer, but it’s now in distinct chunks., some 2-4 inches shorter than the rest. I walked out of the salon in shock. Molly, please listen to your clients and honor their requests. I fear I won’t be returning.

Katelyn Bowen NOT CURLY SPECIALIST!!! Dont make the same mistake I did and believe the sites listing curly cuts. Molly was not cooperative in seeing my picture (I had pictures, but after seeing one she went straight into "trust me" mode) and butchered my hair. 3 distinct layers. 0 blending. Im disappointed that I didnt just do a big chop and donate my length instead of letting her touch my hair. Transitions between her chair, wash station and drying dome were rough and like I was expected to know what she was expecting of me. Worst hospitality Ive experience on that front. If youre 50+ and looking for short styles, shes probably got you covered, but dont mistake her sites mentioning of curls for actual knowledge or patience to understand what a client wants to do with their length.

K M My go-to. Megan is phenomenal and works wonders. She is always on time and there is a great atmosphere in the salon.

Christine Jackson I came here without an appointment and Amanda took me right in. Now I’ve been using her and recommending her for 6 mos. Great service, atmosphere is family nature.

britni Johnson I took both my daughters to see Tandra and she was very disinterested in doing hair. They both got highlights and a cut. I asked her if she could style it and I was told no that she didn’t have time. However, in between my daughters appointments, she took an unexpected client which resulted in my girls not getting their hair fully done. Then, it was over $400. They were very excited and by the end it was a let down. She was very rude the whole time to all of us.

Jennifer Upton Erin is Incredibly talented with fine hair and challenging highlights. Erin has corrected multiple friend’s bad highlights. They can do incredible hair extensions and nobody will be able to tell.

Kathleen McIlvaine I have to say that this rating is not because of the hairstylist. Every time that I went to get my hair done, I was very pleased. Laurie was so accommodating and talented. My concern is the lack of communication. I tried on several occasions to schedule an appointment. Each time I left a message. No one ever returned my calls. On my last message I said " If I do not hear back, I guess you do not need my business." Sadly, I decided to go to another salon.
