Essence Anderson Im fairly new to Texas and was looking for a nail shop like back home. I found this one on google and was praying they dont mess my real nails up. To my surprise this nice man Name Sonic took good care of my nail and I been going to him ever since. So its safe to say I found my spot. Place is nice and clean and the customer service is good, plus I can have a drink while doing my service.

Ebony Sanders I was in town for work and a coworker recommended I go here. The service was great, Kim was the technician that serviced me, with a pedicure and fill-in. This place offers complimentary drinks (non-alcohol and alcohol). I would highly recommend this place. Thanks Kim for your service and making my first visit very relaxing and welcoming. When in town this will be my go to place!!!

nobody I returned today after Ana provided the one of best pedicure Ive ever experienced. Jack did my nails today and it was exceptional. I highly recommend this establishment to everyone. Plus, they offer complimentary drinks. Its a great experience.

Joslyn Erial Cruz Gabriel Went to get my birthday nails done and I’m in love. I booked an appointment with Megan and she did a fabulous job. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she did exactly what was on the photo. The place was very clean and everyone was very polite. I would suggest this nail salon for anyone interested in getting your nails done.

Inspired2RV Just visiting San Antonio but was desiring a pedicure badly. Gave this place a try. The staff is friendly, respectful and talented. No monkey business. Got the basic pedicure and I’m very happy. Offered me a bottle of water and the chairs are very nice. The decor is clean and fresh. They take extra precautions due to COVID and if I lived here, this would be my place!

Grace Smith I was sat right away when I walked in but I was rushed due to the nail tech having an appointment in an hour. Hard to say what the right thing to do in that situation is, so I had an overall good experience even still. Only one nail is crooked (you can see a slight curve in the middle nail) , all the others look amazing! My nail tech was very talkative and nice! She did amazing with the time we had and gave me a great price. I recommend.

Rebecca Carey Came in for a dip manicure with tips. Called in advance to see if they could take me since they would be closing in the next hour and a half. They said they could. I really regret it. I’m not sure if their quality is always bad or if the person who did my nails was rushing to leave, but they flooded my cuticles and there’s a gap between my natural nail and the fake tip that has accumulated dirt and debris that is impossible to clean. I told the person about the gap issue and he just assured me they wouldn’t come off. That’s not the problem, the hygiene issue is the problem. Also due to the flooded cuticle, as they’ve grown out there is lifting at the bottom so even that was incorrect. I’ve had the manicure for just a few days and I’ll have to remove. Completely wasted $60. Strongly would advise against going here for dip.

Jenna Kurburski went in for the first time for a fill and to get my toes done. originally wanted some artwork, and they did a great job but i realized i didn’t like the color that was used for the base under the art. called them and asked if they’d be willing to redo the four nails that had art on them and they scheduled me the next day! they redid them without any questions and didn’t charge me for the service. their prices are super affordable but not cheap work at all, they do such a great job. the guy that did my nails was so nice and sweet. they are a very clean establishment. i will be going back for my next fill!!

Anna Greenwell This place is so nice and welcoming! They don’t rush you at all and they’re so friendly! Prices are great, my daughters and I LOVED our pedicures! They do such a great job and the interior is absolutely stunning. I highly recommend and I will be back!

Lindsay Cooper I waited a few weeks to leave this review because I needed to cool down and speak fairly, but I also want people to know before going that they need to be careful. I NEVER get my nails done. It had been 5+ years since I have, and dip didn’t even exist back then, so I had never had dip nails. I needed my nails done for a photo shoot and chose this salon based on excellent reviews. I showed up on a Wednesday at 3:30pm. They were not busy when I arrived though they did get busier by around 5 when I left. I did not have an appointment, which was probably my first mistake, but again I have very little nail salon experience. I walked in and requested “dip nails” and the guy at the front desk sent me to a seat at a nail station. An older woman who spoke almost no English came out and asked me what I wanted. Rather than try to explain, I showed her the picture which I have posted here, of ombré dip nails. I knew they did this because I had seen ombré as an option on their website before choosing to go there. I asked, “can you do exactly this?” And she said “yes. Pick color” — at this point I was confused because I legitimately just showed her what I wanted exactly and she agreed… but I said “color for the base? To go with the white?” And she said “yes base. Pick color” so I picked a pinkish color that I thought was close to the photo. She began working. Again, I have never had dip nails and it’s been 5+ years since I had any nails done, so I’m just along for the ride. She did several dips and then filed and got the LED cure light out. I didn’t know HOW the ombré would be done but I knew it would be before the LED cure so I was alarmed. I said, “what about the white ombré?” And she just stared at me. I asked again. She said “no ombré” and I said “yes ombré. Please do it” … at this point another younger employee stepped in to translate. I showed this girl the photo that was agreed upon and the girl said, “she didn’t see this picture. You got a single color. The nails are done” and I said, “she DID see this picture. She agreed to this picture. And I would like you to do ombré now” — the employees went back and forth in their primary language and then the younger girl said “you have a single color. We cannot make it ombré” There is no reason they couldn’t have shaved the nails down to fix them and start over. They did not acknowledge their mistake. They cured my single color bubblegum pink nails and charged me full price and sent me on my way. They texted me a survey to fill out that evening and I was honest in my response. Nobody from the salon contacted me based on that survey and it’s been 3 weeks so I’m not sure why they even sent it. I am giving 2 stars because the salon was clean and my nails weren’t botched but they were NOT what I wanted and I had to get them fixed for a ridiculous price (removal+new set) elsewhere the next day.

A E I saw your reply and updated the photos, including the charges from your salon. I called to discuss adjusting my payment fairly so I can remove my review. I also came back because my middle eyebrow wasn’t waxed, even though you claimed it was. My daughter recorded the entire session, and the service wasn’t completed. Charging me for this is fraudulent Please call me back to resolve the issue. My daughter had her first pedicure today, but unfortunately, the experience wasn’t great. The lady working on her was rude and unprofessional, aggressively picking at her feet and massaging them in a way that made my daughter uncomfortable. Even though I kept checking in with her, she was too polite to say anything at the time. As for my own experience, I tried to keep it light and friendly, chatting and laughing with my nail technician. But when I got home, I was shocked my nails look like they were painted by my 11 year-old! I’m really disappointed with the quality of the work. Definitely not what I expected.

Winter Zamora This salon is amazing! Been a customer for a few years and their gel-nail services are always top notch. Jimmy, Lena, & Rio are excellent nail techs. Sophia & the other staff are helpful and kind. The salon is very clean and well ventilated. Try it for yourself!

MiK J My introduction (cat eye): I liked the woman that did my fill. I was told she no longer works there, when I called back a few weeks later to set up another appointment with her, unfortunately. I like that two free drinks are offered during your stay. I also like the ambience. It’s a larger shop than what I’m used to, very pretty. [I was a walk-in for this appointment.] Second (Chick-fil-A): While I received the most compliments on this set, it’s not what I requested. The white was meant to be black, I had mentioned this twice. The flowers were also meant to look differently, as shown in the Inspo. I wanted to mimic the flower design in inspo #1 and the colors in inspo #2. I think this had to do with him taking a photo of my inspo. I believe the photo came out blurry, so he tried his best to replicate the image he saw. I suspect, had I offered to leave my phone on the table, my set would’ve turned out closer to how I planned. I did like that when removing my old set, Rio didn’t use a nail tip and pry off anything. He allowed my nails to soak. He is great at pedicures, very nice massages. I’d rebook with him. [I called in advance to set this appointment up.] Third (pink and white): I visited on the evening of Valentine’s Day, an hour before closing. I feel my experience was rushed, likely because it was the end of the day. Previously, I went in the morning, so I had no concept of when they closed, until I arrived. Two people assisted me, Nick did my pedicure (which was nice). I’m not sure what the name of the person who did my full set was. They did use a nail tip to take off my old set and requested I let them know if it hurt, which suggests they know it does. They rounded my edges as well, which is a bummer. I prefer and requested square. [I booked an appointment via the website, this time, no request for a particular individual to complete my service. The website allows you to book until 7pm with no regard towards the time of the appointment you are attempting to book.]

Alexandra Elizondo I went in late and got a full set+pedicure with a friend. GIGI & team got to work quickly. But sweet Gigi stayed late ON A FRIDAY I must add and took her time with my nails. She is so kind & made sure every nail was perfect to my liking!! Although it is a drive I will definitely make it out to this shop!! Very satisfied :)

Jacklyn Jackson Let me tell y’all something… I get my nails done all the time and NEVER go to the same place because I’m never satisfied. People do a good job but it’s never “just like the picture.” I came to Stellar nails, on a Saturday, with no appointment and was taken cared of quickly! This nice lady Bee did my manicure, and NAILED it!!! She did EXACTLY what I asked for and it made me so happy, and I’m so grateful. Also, Michael did my pedicure, and he was SPOT ON! Super detail oriented and it was obvious he had integrity in his work! I can HONESTLY say that BEE & MICHAEL gave me STELLAR NAILS!!!

Destiny McCarthy Linh is absolutely amazing! Ever since I found him, I never go to anyone else to get my nails done. He takes his time and really cares about your inspiration pictures. I have never had a bad set with him. I highly recommend Linh, you will not be disappointed!

Erin Hernandez Beyond excellent service. Bee and Michael had me laughing from the moment I sat down. I was I decided on the style and design. I told Bee that I wanted fall because it was too late for Halloween. She said it’s never too late for Halloween. I picked out a design and she executed it will class and her fun side came out. Beyond pleased with my nails. I will now be going to her for every fill.

Makenzie Thorn They didn’t tell me it was 20 extra dollars for the ugly French tip. Also it’s five extra dollars for them to shape the nails too. This looks crazy and it was 80 dollars plus tip. Definitely not worth the price or two hours of my time. The guy who did my nails name A Lam.

Eve The best pedicure I’ve got in a long time. I had a great comfy experience, the place is clean and pretty. Tom was fantastic and took so much time on my cuticles and making sure my toes were so neat and had a clean finish. I appreciated his attention to detail and will be coming back with him every time now. Making this my go to spot because I was 100% satisfied

Monique Yager Kim and her crew do an amazing job! I’ve been going for over a year now and always make the mistake of trying another salon that’s closer to where I live but I will drive out of my way to continue to get my nails done at Olmos Nails! It’s a no frills place that’s very peaceful, clean, and relaxing. Today, I had my nails done in a “cat eye” look and I am so excited on how they turned out!!

Ive had 2 different people do my nails but they are both talented in their own rights. I love the color selection. I get gel polish. Definitely recommend and will be coming back again.

Mariah Veach Used to come here a ton 6-7 years ago, it was great! Went back today and had a totally different experience. Went in for a fill and left with my skin around my nails painted in shellac and the undersides of my nails super thick and uneven. I pointed it out to my manicurist and he said “well, that’s what you get for choosing a color so close to your skin tone” he then got up, walked to the register, and ushered me to leave. He also charged me extra on my full for a “shaping” even though I kept the exact same shape I had before. Short almond ain’t that complicated…

Chennelle Reyes Kelly slayed my nails!!! She corrected the shape that a nail tech from another salon did, which I did not like, and now I absolutely love them!!! She definitely knows what she is doing! I will be coming back again for her to do my nails, I got the color: 550 Pink Gel/Shellac!!! Also, Andy did my pedicure and he was very attentive! He absolutely did an amazing job! Overall, I loved my experience here! I’m so happy I found this salon!!! They are very clean, the prices are very reasonable and all of the techs were really nice. The color this time is: 529 Blue River Org. Gel/Shellac! I also got a pedicure but forgot to get the techs name, however she did an amazing job as well. I absolutely love this nail salon! dee The tech was so rude! I brought my daughter here for the 1st time, we both got pedicures.. I wanted to love it.. the location is great for me and the shop looks really nice. I noticed plenty of color options and thought Id definitely be back again.. I wanted a French pedicure.. havent gotten one in years, I was so excited for this!! I got 1 coat of white polish for the French tip... so you can see through the polish and it looks dirty.. I noticed this before I left and said something.. the tech said it was my nail... you shouldnt be able to see through the white on a French tip.. it needs two coats. The tech had already been rude, he seemed upset from the moment I told him what Id wanted.. I dont know if he was having a bad day or what but it completely ruined my experience.. dont think Ill be back here.

Sun D I tried to get my nails done on the 19th of March. I went there after 3 pm. The technician kept holding my hands very uncomfortable, and I said it hurt and I felt uncomfortable over three times. She ended up hurting my left arm. She didn’t even asked me which shape I wanted to do. She just kept filing the artificial nails that I didn’t even ask to put them on. They do not have a manager who supervise the employees, or they are afraid of letting what they did to me to the manager. I’ve tried to talk to the manager over the phone several times, but they always said she’s not at office. I called over 5 times since that day. I asked her to get another technician, but the assistant manager (I don’t think she is the assistant manager because of her poor professionalism being the one and lack of communication skills as a manager) aggravated the situation. She kept cutting me off when talking to her. She just told me that they could remove the artificial nails and base gel. There was another issue with this nail spa. They didn’t have price chart that a customer could have different options. They never showed it to me. They charged me $15 to remove what the first technician did, and ended up making my nails dry and very weak by putting my finger nails into a strong acetone bowl. The second technician who had a short hair didn’t remove the residue completely, so I had to cut my finger nails very short. I’m leaving this comment because I think I was so patient with them after trying to reach their manager over 5 times. Thank you so much for your poor service and communication! I barely leave any review, but I act accordingly.

Bree Please be sure to not have the technician use the SAME purple pumice stone that’s been used by 100 other people! It’s unsanitary and disgusting no matter if you sterilize it, they have pores and bacteria is in them! Common sense!!!! And upcharging $20 for shellac on toes is robbery! I understand $10 the most but come on, $58 and a tip to be added just for a pedicure is absurd.
