5 /5 Lee B. Bella (bells): I’ve been attending classes at SMF for over a month now, & let me tell you, this is the single best investment I’ve ever made in myself. The instructors are upbeat & engaging. The classes are equally fun & challenging. You wake up & are excited to go!
I wanted to start incorporating strength training & other types of exercise after losing 45lbs from straight cardio, but have always felt intimidated by gyms & nervous to try things without direction. The guidance SMF provides is irreplaceable. You can ask questions without feeling stupid. When they say they welcome all levels of fitness, it’s not an empty promise. Take it from me—I could barely lift 5 pound weights for multiple reps when I first started, & nobody ever made me feel “less than”. Instead, they challenged me to get better with every class. I’m already starting to see definition & getting comfortable lifting heavier. Thank you SMF!!
Also, don’t be afraid to try new classes. I have never cycled before, my first class I couldn’t figure out how to buckle in my shoes lol, & now cycle is one of my favorite classes every week. Barre, Yoga, Bootcamp, Bounce, it’s all so much fun!!
& finally, to the wonderful ladies who attend these classes, let me just say you are all so incredible & uplifting. It’s a kind of support I’ve never experienced in the fitness community before. I’m proud to be a member of this gym. If you’re reading this review, I hope I get to meet you soon :)
