1 /5 RC Goularte: I took out a loan 2 years ago, when the 1st payment was due, I went to THEIR website to pay. I was redirected to another site & made the payment. Then I got a call from Mariner stating I was late. I explained I made a payment and was informed they dont use that company. I had to make another payment. WHAT? I am on SS so I get paid typically the 1st Wed. of the month which I explained to them. Every month Im not paid on the 27th, I get a call telling me Im late. 2 years into my contract, Im STILL getting calls when Ive NEVER been late. 2 months ago, Mariner corp. calls telling me Im late. They had ALL my info. and said theyd change my due date. WHAT ? The manager calls me the next month and explains Im late. WHAT? I call this office and asked for the manager. Not available, and Julie tries to take care of me. I asked for the manager to call me. Unavailable . After explaining what the manager all ready knew, she threatened to sue me and hung up. I called back and asked for the manager AGAIN. I got his assistant . Unavailable. I asked multiple times because Ive dealt with him for months & he knows my situation. DENIED. In the end, she insisted on helping me. She could not and asked " are you sure you dont want to talk to me because Im a woman and hes a man ? ARE YOU KIDDING ME ? Shes in MANAGEMENT and just said that ???? How dare her pull the gender card !!! Again, the MANAGER has dealt with me, THATS WHY I WANTED HIM not because Im prejudice ! One would think after 2 years of ON TIME payments theyd stop calling. They offered to LOAN ME MORE $ so they could change the due date. REALLY NOT IN THIS LIFETIME ! STAY AWAY and keep your sanity.
