1 /5 Delyshia Owens: I am writing to express my concern regarding my recent visit to your casino. Upon arrival, my group was met at the front desk by staff who were selectively enforcing the ID scanning policy. One of our friends had a valid temporary ID, which was not accepted. While I understand and respect that policies must be followed, we were not allowed to proceed inside the casino until she had physically left the property, even being stopped while she was still in the parking lot.
The issue arose when we noticed that this same policy was not applied consistently. Multiple guests were allowed to enter without having their IDs scanned at all. In fact, another member of our own group who arrived earlier than us was able to walk in without presenting identification.
When we attempted to address this concern with the front desk staff, they responded with dismissive attitudes, eye-rolling, and unprofessional behavior. At the time we walked in, the staff members were conversing casually with each other, using profanity, and not engaging guests in a professional manner.
This experience left a very negative impression. If an ID scanning policy is in place, it should be enforced consistently with all guests, without exception. Furthermore, front-line staff should maintain a professional demeanor at all times, as they are the first point of contact and set the tone for a guest’s experience.
