1 /5 Renée McKenna: I recently brought my car here since I had a screw in my tire. I was wondering if it could be repaired or not, since it was close to the sidewall. They looked at it and said, "Eh, 50/50." So not a vote of confidence from the get-go. They took the screw out, plugged it up, checked it for leaks and said it wasnt leaking. However, they seemed to be highly skeptical of their own work and not confident in the repair whatsoever. They charged me $20 for the repair, and while I was cashing out I said, "So it will last for a little bit at least?" and he said, "Ehhhh...." I then said, "So I can at least make it home ok?" to which he said, "Ehhhh maybe." I then drove up the road to my place of work, and did not feel secure driving my car knowing how skeptical they were. Once at work, I had help getting the donut on my car, and drove on the donut to another place to get all 4 of my tires replaced. I knew I needed new tires very soon anyway as they were toward the end of their life, so the screw forced my hand to make the purchase now. I showed the service technician the picture of the screw in my tire that I took earlier that morning with my phone, and he said that should have never EVER been attempted to have been repaired and that it was dangerous that they did what they did. The service technician said that it was clearly in the sidewall, and they were shaking their head at the thought that they "repaired it." Certainly the last time Ill ever go to these guys. Wouldnt trust them with anything.
