5 /5 Kamel Boutros: Solid. Welcoming. Clergy are good people. No perfection required here or acted. "Enjoy your Forgiveness" is Rector Rev. Jakes direction in the parish. Sunday services very well organized with social distancing and a great tech team for livestreaming.

Having been raised in a more conservative tradition (read: do-it-yourself Christianity), Calvary/St. George’s was the first church I ever attended where the Gospel message I was hearing really felt like “good news.” Since then, Cal/St.G’s became my home, and I feel more a part of the community than ever, as the people there attend not because of shared politics, class, or interests, but because of a shared view that we’re all sinners saved by grace.

Jacob Smith and the entire clergy preach the Gospel of Jesuss love and forgiveness boldly with a heartfelt and scholarly approach. My faith, spirituality, and understanding of Jesus and what it means to be a Christian has grown tremendously since I first came to an Easter service 9 years ago. The parish community is warm and welcoming with so many ways to connect and engage. I consider this church, and parish my family and home in NYC. Come as you are, you are home.
